Personally I think the right 10 are in there, not sure what order they should be in, exactly.

I would have liked to have seen Coulthard in there but he really is the unluckiest driver. never seems to get a decent break and if he did I'm sure you would see him back at his best. Always hold out hope for him every season but if this seasons start is anything to go by its no change.

I think last weekend's race was interesting in reverting to a more driver-focussed contest. We're often told how things have moved on and the old guys would stand no chance in today's technology dominated world. On the other hand, someone like Jim Clark or Sir Stirling who were artists with a delicate touch, might have shown where skill takes over from technology, when you turn off the traction control. Would be interesting to be able to compare them on an equal footing with Lewis.

I think any driver let alone one so young to do so well in his first season and to come so close deserves the accolade.

I agree, what the hell is some punk kid who got lucky with a seat in the best car on the grid doing in the top ten even?

Lewis Hamilton had a seriously impressive start to his F1 career, I don't believe luck came into it. Didn't you see him on Blue Peter all those years ago? :P

Don't get me wrong I think Lewis is a fantastic talent and will surely beat more records and win championships. But I don't think I would place him above Surtees just yet. IMO Damon should be a bit higher too, a great driver and tester who helped develop a world class car. This is bound to be an area Lewis will excell at too. He would still be in my list but nearer number 10 for now.
