Hopefully in the cold light of day it'll not look quite so bad.

At least no one was hurt fella.

Hope you get it sorted ASAP.

Judging by the position of the speedo needle you were going a fair old speed when the picture was taken.! Least you are ok though eh!

looks like itl be walking and public transport for me for the next few weeks!

hope its not a write off:( on the plus the headlights still worked! :P

That is really a tough break mate - just glad that you are ok - as we say out here - "better in the metal than in you...."

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Is the damage just to that area or does is carry on down the car?

If it is just that area it's probably only a new wing, front bumper, a wheel/tyre and then maybe a few bits that hold the wheel on.

Hopefully nothing too serious though :)

i hope so. the tyres fine! no punctures! :) the wheels needed a recon anyway. hehe.

but when i drove it after the accident i think my axle was bent or something as the steering wheel clonked to the right every time the drive shaft or what ever rotated. *fingers crossed*

it was getting lowered this month too:(

yeah, i didnt suffer any pains or anything the ambulance turned up pretty fast tho! no body stoped to see if i was ok. just drove on!

So sorry to hear of the accident, glad you werent hurt though. Hope it gets sorted quickly for you.

Hopefully should all be fixed fairly cheap.

Would it be worth just buying the parts yourself and not claiming ?

Not exactly expensive parts tbh.

I just bought a new wing for my Fabia for £42 delivered.

and get the insurance to do the rest? if a wings only 42 quid... and whats a bonnet. new fog lamp, new grills and new bumper... hmmm then theres the mechanical bits tho

possble idea tho. :)

If you were buying all at one time it would save you on postage i suppose,

but parts alone..

Bonnet £79

Bumper £47

Foglamp £22

Then obviously paint/fitting.

Maybe not worth your while unless you're a dab hand at fitting yourself.

thats not an RS bumper though is it:( i got my old bumper in the garage! haha:)

Nope, only thing i find hard to source is an RS bumper unfortunately.

Hopefully your PM is usefull. :)

might well be worth not claiming mate, as you'll have to pay the excess anyway, theh you'll lose your no claims and also have a claim against you so will cost a fortune in the long run.

just price it up mate and see what happens.
