As i mentioned in my PM ;)

We design databases for Auto Recycling yards (scrappies basically)

So i can do a search from my pc to all the sites we have as to what parts you might need, although for some reason, Skoda stuff is always thin on the ground. :(

How much would a vRS bumper set you back like?

Very hard to come by second hand to be honest.

Damn :o Wanted to put one on my old Silverline 1.4MPI

yeah it was a 400 job last year at a skoda garage:eek:toook a massive chunck out of my student loan!

i was meant to start my supply teaching work next week too! but with no car im screwed to getting to these schools around hte area.

Can't you claim from your insurance? Put it into a garage and get a courtesy car from them, with which to travel to and from the aforementioned schools.

thats what we are trying to avoid due to the massive long term costs.

Would there be any knock on effect on the insurance if he's informed them he's had an accident, but then decides not to claim ?

Probably but a lot smaller than a fault claim.

If you do need a car you can get a good rate from enterprise. While it may seem a lot of money it is much better than not having a job.

Have you got the stock wheels? If so you want to make sure you get those Octy ones off if its getting scrapped , if they arent totally destroyed theres still some value in them.

my dads got my old wheels i gave them to him as a gift for his comfort.

theres the strut brace i can remove, and the blaupunkt satnav head unit, and sub, thats about it that i can flog on.

Oh well, at least thats something. Do you feel that its too far gone to be repaired?

no, i dont think so. i mean i have a bumper in the garage that just needs touching up

if they do write it off i might do it up myself and see what to do with it. we'll see. :)

:(

Bit worse than we first thought then...

Especially with it needing paint on the doors too.

What you gonna do ?
