Last night's Evening Standard had a full page article on a survey done by Top Gear Magazine (think it will be in the next edition) about the link between makes/types of car and where people live. Obviously they focused in the London crowd with the rather predictable results: Chelsea (Porsche), Edgware (Rolls Royce), SW London (Cabrios), West End (Range Rover ), Westminster (Jaguar - didn't specify if it was one or two ), Hoxton (Citroen DS and Fiat 124 Spider - apparently lots of offbeat trendy types there). The right at the end of the article ...........

I knew us people from East Kent had excellent taste :p but hadn't realised that the large numbers of Fabs and Octys around Canterbury was unusual :confused: . Since I got mine I have noticed Skoda badges all over the place but, so far, only one other vRS and only one Superb - the favourite seems to be the Fabias and the TDi Octys.

I liked the Citroen DS comment about Hoxton. The ES has this thing about Hoxton, that it is up-and-coming and trendy. It isn't. It's a ****-hole. It will never be trendy.

I saw a lovely DS parked in Grange Park near me.

I would disagree with the Porshes in Chelsea tho, there are more Mercs, BMW,s and 4x4,s than anything else.

Perhaps tho we just have a good supply of decent Skoda dealerships round here.

But who got Kent the G marking on the new plates ( standing for Garden of England). It should be K for Kent!!!

I like them but I do think the bars are getting shorter and the chocolate coating is thinner. :(
