Nicely converted TDI to vRS spec

Featured Replies

tasty :P

Hmmm, very nice, I wonder if he'd be interested in my spare dashpod to finish it off :D, only down the road too.

Shame he didnt get our web address correct.

Looks good, changing the dashpod would finish it off nicely.

Steering wheel looks wrong. Looks like a 4 spoke, difficult to tell from the pictures.

Its turned, you can see the top 2 spokes, but facing down.

There's no vRS badge on the front grille :P

WHY?

Sorry but i'd just buy a vrs

Good job though

It DOES have 4 x electrics afterall...

I think he's done a nice job tbh! Could be a cheap car for someone :)

Yeah, nice to plug the site, but 1) who is he, and 2) get the address correct

Its definitely a 4 spoke wheel. Leather though by the looks of it :)

Car looks like a real pedigree mongrel. Could be a cheap fast mode of transport for somebody. I`d be interested if in the market. Looks very well looked after IMHO.

A great job done there

Think I would buy it. Looks a good job.

I thought the same about the web address but briskoda.com still works...

Two other things I also thought... I don't like the tone of some of the ad and wouldn't it be possible that declaring the mods that make it look like a vRS cost more than insuring a standard vRS?

I might be wrong, I'm sure you'll tell me... but won;t the gear box be a 5 speed? with a 6 speed knob?

HAHA! Hope the buyer knows this before getting disapinted on thier return journy!.. or maybe the call will go through "6th doesn't go in mate"

I'd like a Mock VRS, but everytime i get close to buying a piece I remember I have a 2001 1.4.. doesn;t really warrent the cost.. plus, it's green... anyone in the know would see through it straight away.

Looks sweet, hes done a grand job there!

He may have put the 5 speed knob from a Mk1 Octavia vRS on there. :)

Hi there all of you who have commented on my vehicle! Sorry if I have upset some of you!, some of you have spoken to me before. Tom vRS, I bought your wheels some time back I'm sure. Sorry about the tone of the ad, it wasn't meant to offend obviously. Devonutpia I bought your springs!

I never said that the car was a vRS just that it might be better because of the work that was done.

It will be a cheap car for someone though and as for the question why?...well why not. It is miles cheaper than a vRS. Although it,s not advertised as having the six speed box it does have the six speed gear knob. It is a great car though as it is.....Please give us a break!!!! especially on my mistake for the site

No worries dude, you did a grand job there ... an example to others ... how to get a vrs beater at a fraction of the cost.

Well I hate you and I hope your car doesnt sell, nah only joking, very clean car you have there and as some guy said earlier some one will bag a cheap car that looks the part, how mush you hoping it goes for?????

What wheels did you buy from me then mate!, I've got a terrible memory!!!

I'm guessing furby vRS standard ones?

Thanks for being so kind on me!!. I have set the reserve on it at the £4K mark so will see what happens. And Tom_vRS, you are right, it was a while ago for the wheels so it's my memory not yours but it was Jon tdi that I got them from (just checked my pms).

anyways,

cheers guys
