Ive just had a new cambelt and exhaust fitted to my 90 bhp tdi and as such am feeling a little brasic at the moment:(. However ,to cheer myself up , ive been thinking of fitting a tuning box for a little more oomph. Iknow they are not everyones cup of tea, but i cant justify a remap, so 60 odd quid for a box would suit me fine. Ive seen a few on fleabay from germany which plug into the diesel pump connectors and have a separate box connected to it.From the feedback,they seem to give a noticable power increase ,along with improved mpg,and no noticable smoke, so was just wondering if you think one of these boxes would be a worthwile purchase as any increase on 90hp would be great.Ihave fitted a pipercross panel filter and am using millers sport additive at present and have noticed a small increase . thanks --dave:)

i got a rapid HP one off a bri skodian, has made a great difference, think my car must be running at around 130, and fuel is better on little journeys, getting 55mpg around little country lanes etc, long runs, hasnt really made much difference. and not alot of smoke of full welly
