Had SWMBO's Ferbi serviced there, nice job done, change from £96.00
We seem to have a constant noise while turning left, had the car in 4 times now (last being Friday just gone) apparently it's a fault with the Ferbi 2, nothing can be done :(
Went in there on Thursday for the Yeti launch, saw the car and the sales person siad any questions let me know, fair enough. (nice car for those who haven't seen it yet ;)) Noticed the same salesperson about 10 minutes later in hysterics running through the show room
As best I can makes out there was a woman picking up her 2nd hand Roomster and couldn't get the seats right and needed a salesperson to help. The customer was diabled!! Not sure who was being laughed about................... :O
While in there wating for a minor fault on the Octi to be fixed, I waited in the showroom. There was a valeter cleaning a Superb in the showroom, with the sales manager and 2 other members of staff looking at the car. Not sure how the conversation got on to it, but the manager started talking about the valeters willy size!! (he was a short black chap for info) WTF!!
I nearly made a complaint, but I manged to ask "who's the arrogant d1ckhead??" to the service desk chaps as he walked passed me, I made sure he heard me. Not what you want to hear while sitting in their show room I'm sure you'll agree.
To be honest, not sure if I'll be going back, may find a local VAG specialist.

They have also arranged work and give me courtesy cars with as little as 2 days notice.
Pretty pleased on the whole. Will be getting car serviced etc by AMD following remap but when I need convenience unit done I will take it to Beadles.

I go to parts, tell them I need this part identifying, ordering, and fitting. They too seem surprised at my request. They send me to services to get it identified and booked in. I go to services and wait with several disgruntled customers who have been messed about, had their cars misplaced or, well, vandalised in the name of service. I tell services I need a part identified, ordered and fitted. They send me back to my car and tell me parts will come out and identify it. Parts come out, we look at tube. Yes, it's a tube, they say, and it needs replacing. They tell me to go back to services, but on a hunch I follow them back to parts to watch while they try to find it on their system. Their system is a type in word, system with name of part in or related system appears in a list, systems not applicable to your model of car appear in grey, picture of system with labelled parts is used to identify part and then order. Many word searches are tried including breather tube, breather, air pipe, air box, air assembly, pipe, tube... No pictures that appear feature this pipe. they do not attempt to type in part number. The technicians reckon it leads down to some vacuum chamber...but cant find it. During this time they complain profusely about the complicatedness of skodas and their inconvenience. They tell me their resident skoda expert (shouldn't they all be experts?) is on the phone, but will call me when they've identified it and complete my request.
While at ****************** getting my AC checked for leaks and regassed, I pop round the corner to************* to ask about my pipe, Oh how we chortled when I told them the dealers couldn't identify their own pipe. They jot down the part number, make a phone call and order one in for monday. Part + fitting ~£30. I will tell them to be careful with the clip at the bottom.
I get a voice mail from Beadles telling me again their resident skoda expert will identify it and call tomorrow. Must have been a long phone call for the expert.
Tomorrow passes, they don't call. I've been dismissed as an inconvenience.
I wont be going back to Beadles, the 0844 phone calls alone are costing me a fortune.

Been in to find out more info to buy a Superb estate, again pretty much knowing what I want, there was only one rep and the lady on the counter asked someone sitting on a desk who politely declined to come and speak to me. I will be looking elsewhere in Kent for my car now

For sales i would not use them again, the salesman himself at the first instant was fine they said they would call every week to update me on my cars progress (i didnt ask for this they said they would as a matter of course)... didnt get one call, when i called them i got told they couldnt tell me anything as i had to speak to my specific salesman and sometimes got a call a day or two later sometimes didnt... the impression i got to be honest was very keen to get your deposit but once they had that they couldnt be bothered.
When i went to pick the car up they had booked 3 people in at the same time with only one person who does the handovers, old couple went in first which is fair enough but then the other person was called in (this after about an hour) i was still sat there and when i asked i was told that although i was booked in at the same time i wasnt next, i asked why and was told that the person who has gone in was a new customer ... as was i.
cut a long story short waited an hour and a half without a by your leave and had to tell them that unless they had someone attend to me within the next 15 mins i would walk and they could give my deposit back... 15 minutes went so i told them thats what i would do at reception and magically someone else appeared who could do handovers! wasnt happy at all, especially when he took it upon himself to tell me that i would have difficulty getting my deposit back if i decided to walk away at the time!! (think they forgot the fact that i was given a written delivery week for some reason, and that was missed by 4 weeks).
During the week before i picked i up, they had given me the wrong reg number so i had a pigs ear getting insurance (gave me the number of a kia!)and was told by one helpful salesperson that it wasnt anything to do with them it was between me and the DVLA so i would have to sort it out.
have had the car a year in feb, its been in a couple of times for a few minor things and the mechanics themselves seem pretty spot on from my experience, the service reception are a little hit and miss car always comes back clean and the work is to a good standard.
Overall i would say :-
Sales :2/10
aftersales: 7/10
But the sales experience has made me consider going elsewhere for the first service, it was that bad

1 compalint I'm affraid. The car was "washed and cleaned" before I collected the car. Except, it looked a though it had been cleaned with a mucky rag after a quick blast with a jet wash
Please, Beadles, get it sorted, or give me a part time job............ you're customers will notice the difference
ps. The aftersales manager does read these threads and is thankfull for the feed back.

Had the Octi in on Friday for a continuing issue with the rear wash wipe. This was the 6th visit to get this fixed and hopefully the last.....
Basically, the water only came out about an inch up the blade and the motor had a mind of its own!! The wiper arm would stick on the down wipe for a split second, or wipe for a million times even though the wiper was turned off!! And it went off by its self one afternoon!!
So, in it went and I told the service reception dept that I did not want the car back till it was 100% correct. Fair enough they said, we'll call you once its ready. So, off I went and treated myself and Little Stig to a nice breakie at the local Sainsburys.
11:30 came along with a phone call from the service dept, " can you explian the fault again.......?" One very deap breath and an explanation later, I let them carry on. 15:30 came along with another phone call....... "The car needs a new wiper motor and it will take 3 days to get one! It's a known fault on these cars!" WTF!!
So, could I have courtesy car in the mean time, "No, they're all booked out" Best I come and get the car back then, "Yes" So, off we went feeling rather miffed to say the least..... On arrival I was greeted with "We've found a motor and its being fitted now! Did no one call you?"
30 minutes later, the car was ready!!
Sufice it to say, after the MOT is done in September, I will not be going back there again. Shame realy, because their sales dept are pretty good and there a couple of cars in the show room I realy like.

I parked my bum at the plazma TV, threw some coffee down my neck and had a read of the paper. About 30 mins later, young Holly came over and explained that the test was over running by 15 minutes. I decided to nip home to be on the safe side.
Around 1600 hrs, got a call to say the car was ready and passed the MOT.
I may have been a little harsh in my previous thread.......... We'll wait and see how they deal with Mrs Stigs Ferbi if it needs work doing to it..

My only minor gripe is that when the car is washed, I do wish the windows were cleaned properly and not left all smeared...... Please Beadles, give your cleaners some thing to get the glass clean!! A drying towel does wonders.... Or give me a part time job!!

Bit late, but here is my review......
Car booked in for the 9th December - arrived for 0800, knowing I was going to wait for the car to have the work done. 0830, service manager came over and offered me a courtesy car so I could go home and get on with a normal days work.
Car ready just after lunchtime, but as mentioned above by Richie, I almost wish they wouldn't bother washing the car, as the whole car, and especially the windows, were left in a lovely state
Not sure about the cost as mine is on a maintenance plan, but I use them as I find the staff very helpful, and not had any issues with the job that is done.
Now for the rant...... Get rid of the call centre booking system - it's useless. If they have to use it, offer customers the chance to speak directly to the service desk and be put in a queue if necessary (I've since been told that all you need to do is insist on being put through to the service desk and not the call centre and they will).

I have an older Octavia, Mark 1, 53 reg, which has 117,000 on the clock, has been fully serviced since new and ultra reliable, until now. Two weeks ago I parked at the supermarket and it failed to start when I returned. My local independent has had it in for repair but can’t fix the electronics, so they are taking it on a transporter to Beadles to be looked at tomorrow. More in due course.

Was told any questions don't hesitate to phone or pop in, he will phone every couples to update on car build progress etc even of not any heard he will let us know. Nice to be treated like the car owner not ignored like some places due to being a 19 yr old female. Will update when I hear more from them on my order.

so far promises kept and can't fault the service, car is arriving a couple of weeks sooner than expected but that is a pleasant surprise
not seen any issues of noted elsewhere on this thread, and the parts department are good, use them regularly for service items for wifes mk1 vrs and my sadly departed roomster

***UPDATE***
Once i had fought to get what i wanted, they quickly started to help me and the customer after-care was good, I had a phone call within a week asking if there were any issues with the car. I also had a call due to the issues i raised in this thread and they arranged for me to have a spare wheel and kit for free as compensation.
I was very impressed with this and the overall Skoda After-care
