Morning all....

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just found your site and it all looks very interesting.

I am the proud new owner of a metallic blue Citigo SE 60ps Greentech 3dr. manual.

Delivered on 01 Mar and now with all of 75 happy miles on the clock.

One small question, and please excuse me if this has been posted before, what is the box of electrics under the front passenger seat? It seems to be glued to the carpet so its not a VAG meter forgotten by the PDI team, unfortunately.

Thanks all.

Hi Dilligaff,

In a previous post called 'What is this thing?' they said it was a voltage stabiliser when the car has stop start?

Snap. We picked ours up on Friday as well? Not superstitious with a 13 plate? I hope you had better treatment from the sales team than I got?

Thanx Owens.

A bit hit and miss. The guy who took my order left the co. so I had to chase them. Then the new guy did not respond to my emails/phone calls and I was worried about the deposit?

Is it just me or do new cars attract dickheads?

1) Parked down by the river in a bay big enough for 12 cars, right at the end. Turned my back and a woman with 5 teenagers dressed in wet suits and back packs had parked 2 feet from me and they wee all struggling to get out of the car and banging their kit all over my brand new bodywork.

2.) Parked in a big car park at Box Hill today and deliberately chose a spot right in the corner with PLENTY of room for the only car next to me to open his doors safely. Went to get a cup of tea, came back and the car had gone but a minibus FULL of teenage hikers had squeezed in next to me................................... and guess which side they were all trying to get out???????????????????????????????

Still loving the new car and actually washed and polished it today. Not done that to a car since I was a yoof.

Have a look at my Pre delivery blues and Worth the wait?

Funny the chap who sold us ours left the dealer?

With reference to post 3.... Isn't that just bloody typical. My wife has to park on a public car park for work. If I pop in to see her I'm always looking down the sides of the car to look for battle scars. So far (only had the car a month) nothing untoward has happened, although I suppose there's plenty of time.

Glad you're enjoying your new car the same as we are. It's my first Skoda, but not the first VAG car I've had and I have to say its rather good to be honest..

Re the parking...I'm a fully signed up member of the club also  ..Farthest corner end parking bay and stuffed against the side furthest away from the next bay, but they will follow  There is another thread on the forum where we discussed this. I think it was MickA who suggested that parking in an empty enclosed supermarket trolley bay might be good

Oh No!! First ding!!

I parked next to some railings and opened the door enough to get out, then the door sprang open and ****ted the railings.

Very small chip off the edge of the door.

Guess now I need to find a metallic blue touch up stick.

BTW I am very impressed with the colour option as I saw it for the first time today in bright sunlight and the paint has tiny sparkly glitter in it.

Must be VAGazzle ????
