Skoda Octavia 1.8 Turbo 4x4 Elegance Estate.

51 reg (Sept 2001). Blue.

73,000 miles. Full Service History.

Taxed until end June. MOT due July.

This is a reluctant sale due to no longer requiring two cars. I have owned the car since 2007 and am only the second owner. The car has never let me down and is great fun to drive. The car has been regularly maintained and serviced, with any necessary work being done. I have all receipts. Work has been done by a long trusted local independent garage and another local independent VAG specialist garage. The car is thoroughly washed and polished regularly. The engine pulls smoothly - the throttle body has been cleaned and the turbo DV valve and various breather hoses have been replaced.

Recent work includes:

• Timing Belt & Water Pump Replaced (January 2013 at 71,300miles) (previously done January 2009 at 45,400 miles);

• New brake discs and pads all round.

• Two new brake calipers (one front, one rear).

Many parts have been replaced to keep the car looking newer, this includes badges, indicator lenses, number plates and windscreen etc. It is running on the standard 16 inch Elegance alloys with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.

Upgrades include:

• JVC CD / ipod head unit (original ‘Symphony’ head unit included in sale – car has 6 CD changer in boot);

• Rear wiper from Mk2 Octavia;

• Bosch aero wipers at front;

• Philips bluevision and clearvision bulbs;

• ‘Autohaus Wolfsburg’ rear number plate holder;

• Briskoda sticker.

The car currently has a K&N induction kit fitted. The original airbox fitted with a Pipercross panel filter will be included in the sale. Haynes Manual also included.

The bad points – driver’s door microswitch needs replaced, driver’s side rear window doesn’t work.
