  1. Aye I think boost leak because the graphs are similar with a slight decrease but whereas it used to "power" through it now dips off. I'd guess split pipe somewhere or pipe not on far enough maybe.
  2. Also TPS had a deal on oil a short while ago, look out for one of them to make a better saving on genuine oil instead IMO. As for brakes I prefer the 312 from the Octavia , or various other VAG models, fitted to the Fabia over the 288s that are standard.
  3. It's all in the little details, IMO, that make the car better. Both to drive and visually to each individual person, which is why we mod our cars. Great work and attention to detail Charlie car looks amazing!
  4. RARB and ride does depend on your budget TBH. AP's have a good reputation amongst some and are a reasonable cost. Also depends on your preference for coilovers or spring kits.
  5. Hi and welcome to the forums! I've had a few mk1 Fabia's just go along to the correct section and ask away.
  6. Hi and welcome to the forums
  7. Must be a way to disconnect the central locking from the main sender on each door individually like the Octavia can?
  8. You could also have a few passenger rides if you were so inclined.
  9. As stated above check for leaks in the hoses a very common problem with poor braking. Also get the brake fluid bled as that could also be an issue. The 312mm discs really are quite good so you shouldn't be having those issues on normal day to day driving.
  10. I agree. It all depends on your personal taste of what colours will work and what won't. Try a blue possibly if you don't want a silver?
  11. Another small job done today, clean out the throttle body. It wasn't hugely dirty but their was some so it was definitely worthwhile doing IMO. Car now seems to idle a little better and find out when I next drive it if the pickup has been positively affected as well. Note to whoever is doing one next, I'm mechanically basic so didn't know any better, is to put all four bolts of the TB in at once as I did it with two to start with and the last one did not want to go in again for love or money.
  12. All you really need is decent road pads and discs, if you're mainly road use with no track use. Brembo do good discs and Brembo/Pagid are good brake pads for standard use. DS2500 are great pads when warm but are expensive however not so good when cold, it all depends on how much you want to spend. I personally don't like the red, green etc. pads that you can get as their has been some horror stories on those. I'm sure another member will be on soon enough to recommend some other better performance pads.
  13. Small job done today, replace pollen filter. A bit fiddly but with a little care and attention did it with nothing broken. Before: And after:
  14. At a guess, well Google search, I'd say vrs890. They posted a few times regarding the SE model Fabia.
  15. Hi and welcome back the best place to ask a question is in your models section, which you'll find a little down the board. That area is more frequented than the hello section and will have actual owners of your car to hand that can help. Hope you sort it.
  16. So old Forge TIP fitted, better than factory, catch can, all the deletes sorted, new rocker cover (and gasket as it was already leaking hence the mess), new standard DV as my baileys one was leaking. Blue silicon needs replacing soon but that was the only one available that we had to fit there, but it will most definitely be replaced soon. Jobs to do replace brake fluid as seems to be to much travel on the pedal, fuel filter and throttle body cleaned to be completed next time. Theirs probably a few other things I'll do to add onto that but that is another list LOL.
  17. Small update, sort of LOL. So I wanted my deletes done and as I don't have the experience, knowledge or all the tools to do so I decided to use Bowders (Mark) from the forums. Definitely a worthwhile trip to do so if you're like me and we found, fixed some, problems with the car that I didn't know about. Some photos, LOL, to follow....
  18. Car is looking very good Charlie!!
  19. A few more photos from Saturday, Octavia fwiends LOL.
  20. If they came off a mk5 Golf then I'd say no, it's the mk4 platform that fits the Fabia's.
  21. Another little update rear console bushes fitted, thanks Danny, which were a slight improvement on the old ones. And a photo to show Danny's and my Octavia.
  22. Greenline Matt, his profile, if still current, states he lives in Hungerford area. This is an exceptional looking car IMHO and very worth the money. GLWTS!
  23. Nice Charlie, look forward to seeing this soon!
  24. I would do the bump stops personally as you have everything out and being replaced, they're cheap, so would seem prudent to do them at the same time.
