My Fabia doesn't even have a drain plug on the gearbox. I had to suck the oil out of the fill plug with a pump when I changed it. I didn't fancy pulling a driveshaft out just to get the oil out.

Skoda Fabia 1.2 2009 power steering stiff
TMB replied to Abi2000's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
If the car is 2009 you need the Fabia MK2 section.... https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/113-skoda-fabia-mk-ii/ -
Technically, Hartlepool where I live is no longer in Cleveland but most people still use it on addresses.

Cool. The motors are very easy to swap over
-
Don't forget that you don't get the levelling motors with new lamps, you have to swap the motors over to the new ones. So don't chuck your old lamps away before doing that

More detailed videos....

You will love the look of it when you get new ones on it. They look great all nice and clear and new. And they shine much better
-
I fitted new ones on mine four years ago and the front of the car is often parked in direct sunlight for long periods in the summer and they haven't faded so far. I think all plastic headlight lenses will fade eventually, though. It's just the nature of them. Here's a handy video for replacing them...

Euro Car Parts are also still listing RHD left & right Mk1 Fabia headlights. https://www.eurocarparts.com/headlight

I did wonder if it was the pre-cat lambda sensor plug but I would assume the MIL would be lit with the plug disconnected. Unless someone's bunged the light up with Blu Tak or something.
-
Much clearer picture but I am unable to tell where it's going, unfortunately. Mine is different with it being right hand drive.

Welcome I have the same engine. It's quite hard to see what it is from your pic. A better pic would perhaps help.

Recent pics of your fabia for no reason, just stick em up!

Ah yes, that makes sense. I do have the part number but since I'm thinking of getting another jalopy next year I will just leave it. Cheers though, Ryan -

I'm envious that you have that little plastic trim round your boot latch. Mine either wasn't built with it or it fell off. Probably the latter -

^ That's a nice view to look out onto -
Being gay myself, I was hoping the lads to win, but as you say, it doesn't really matter as they all did great 👍

And they won 👍
