  1. That's what I was on about. Not a complete charge!
  2. Well if you have a look on Amazon under: AA 12 V Car Solar Battery Trickle Charger There are two derivatives.
  3. Yes. Just plug it in the solar charger whilst at work if no charging available or out and about for the day. It's just to help keep it topped up and no issues.
  4. It trickle feeds that useless battery it the hybrid has.
  5. TBQH I don't use AA very much at all I find it quite clunky to use and now I'm retired from the railway, I don't get many phone calls at all. The only time I tend to use it is when I'm going somewhere out of my area that I don't know and I'm using Waze or GM for navigation.
  6. Well you never can tell whether Laura is a he or a she these days in the real world 🌎. 😬
  7. Dashcams come in all different shapes and sizes, also different resolution, you really want to look for HD as a minimum, preferably 4K. Also a decent memory card of at least 64Gb, or more if the camera will accept it. You can choose to have it hard wired in by a professional or just use the USB C socket on the side of the rear view mirror. Boot liners, Bumper lip protectors are available from your dealer, eBay, Amazon or Skoda Parts Online Your car should come complete with floor mats, so you won't need to buy them otherwise try Carmats4U or CarMats.co.uk Home charger you should have been advised about that by your dealer. Or you may want to consider the "AA solar charger" which is about £30 from eBay or Amazon (definitely no more than £30, it plugs into your cars diagnostic port. There's a slightly more powerful one for ~£40. Just put it in the dashboard and plug it in. Door protector or bump strips can be had cheaply on eBay or Temu (I use TEMU) they cost about £2 for clear ones, plus another £2 for door corner protectors.
  8. I don't think it does. I'm certain that it does it even with the ignition system switched off as I've come down to the car and found a number on the bottom line of the infotainment system where the globe is, telling there's an update available.
  9. If you've got 1941 then try: 1. A factory reset, but make sure you have both keys for an easier time. 2. Update the system to 1969.
  10. It should be within the monster thread
  11. You do need to visit a dealer before you can update the software, there's a TPI regarding the matter of the SOS system popping, the other stuff maybe related. But they should update the software to at least 1896? Before you can make the jump to 1941 & subsequently 1969, it may also need a replacement bit of hardware before it can be updated, again that should be covered by a TPI.
  12. The rebooting problem has now ceased?
  13. Yes, when you do it make sure you have both keys present as it makes things a lot easier and quicker.
  14. If it translates into Restore factory defaults or similar then yes.
  15. That won't affect me as I've only got manual seats with heating, so electrically positioned seats issue isn't an issue.
  16. The Factory Reset is found in one of the CAR menus, just have both keys with you when you do it so that when it all kicks back in you can do the account stuff and introduce the car to both keys.
  17. Strange FAT32 worked last time, mind you its a dated format now with drives being so large, so EX-FAT is probably the way to go. Still no sign of an OTA update, not worried as the system is working fine and I don't see that I'm missing out on anything new other than boot time.
  18. You can also get some freeware that will format it to FAT32 as well.
  19. Are you on about the charger getting hot?
  20. Well I have a charger that just about keeps up with power consumption off of the USB ports, which I think have a max output of 15w.
  21. Because you're using software and wireless which is power hungry so you need more power than normal to keep up with the power draw and then maintain and increase the amount of charge going into the battery. You said that things were getting hot, well that's your proof, if you have more power available then it should run cooler
  22. So therefore you will need to have a 20w or 30w charger to compensate for the current draw and actually charge it, let alone maintain the current power levels.
  23. I found the specs for the iPhone 15 Pro Max and it's rated at 15w charging, you probably should be looking for something that has a bit more poke to compensate for it functioning and charging at the same time.
  24. Just get one that mounts on the dashboard or Brodit clip. Loads of them available to choose. Look on TEMU or AliExpress. I have an Aukey one that sits on a disc on the dashboard, OK it's not the perfect solution but better than nothing and it sits neatly behind the infotainment screen. You can even get a small ball mount and attach the charger head to it.
