  1. No, switching through the climate menu. But you can set it to switch on with the seat heater.
  2. Mine does not either. Not bothered, as it switches off with the seat heater.
  3. Mybe it`s different for you there. It used to work here in Europe some years ago too, but then Android Auto made some restrictions. You can have both Skoda navi and Google maps / Waze running at the same time, but only as long as you do not start active routing. As soon as you start navigate with Google / Waze / Tomtom in Android Auto, Skoda navi turns itself down from the virtual cockpit and tells that I am already running another navigation app.
  4. Yes, that`s what I am talking about. We use maps to navigate, don`t we?
  5. Checked Skoda Update portal and got this. All services paid. Any ideas?
  6. It`s not literally a skihatch, but the back seat can be folded in 40 / 20 / 40 parts. And you can downfold the central part separately from a knob next to the headrest. At least my car allows it.
  7. Today I did 460 000. Yesterday I did 459 999.
  8. Have driven 460 000 km without major problems.
  9. All comes down to the production date. The fresher the tyre, the most wear. I know people buying premium tyres 3 -4 years from production date. Rubber gets harder but not losing so much grip yet. Contis - they get worn even without the car driving, Just people saying. But again, I am driving a lot. Continentals are good. So are Michelin, Pirelli, Goodyear, Dunlop etc. European, S - Korea also.
  10. I have 20 inch wheels, but the original Contis lasted less than 20 000 km. Meanwhile I drove several sets of Pirelli Scorpion Verdes, they lasted about 40 000 km. Last year I tried some Michelins, desingned for electric vehicles. They are supposed to last longer, but actually lasted only for 17 000 km. Now I have Barum Bravuris 5. Have probably done 30 000 km on them (as I change the wheels for the winter, then hard to tell exact mileage) and seems they will last another 20 - 30 000 km. Pretty quiet and surprisingly good it rain.
  11. Apple Car Play is the basically same as Android Auto, just different platforms.
  12. It has been this way 3 - 4 years already. Android Auto restrictions. God knows why. Only solution I have found is to buy a Ottocast Android Auto / Apple Carplay wireless dongle, which acts independently from the car media center. But switching between is quite pita if needed. But this way you can have original maps on digital display and Google maps on the main unit screen.
  13. @pepeEL You only can connect wirelessly via wireless adapter. I use AAwireless dongle but there are plenty of similar items on the market. AAWireless | Wireless Android Au...AAWireless | Wireless Android Auto™ AdapterAAWireless is the world's first and leading Wireless Android Auto™ Adapter. ✓ Works out of the box. ✓ Comes with free companion app. ✓ Made in Europe.
  14. Do not know about Kodiaq, but Alfa 156 2 litre petrol engine had an oil consumption 1 liter per 10 000 km. Stated in manual.
  15. Use Google, I really cannot remember, probably somewhere in instruments. You could change there to vRS etc. Not sure the facelift themes are there though.
  16. VCDS, OBD11, Carista.
  17. You cannot import or export bits of the electronic infrastructure. Only activate or deactivate some of them.
  18. Still. First make sure your Haldex filter is clean. Service told they replaced the filter? afaik the filter is irreplaceable. They only can clean it. First dissonance. If the filter is dirty enough, you loose the back end.
  19. Mine is 14 liters. It starts remind you when there is about 2500 km left. Beware, AFAIK the engine doesn`t start anymore if the AB level drops to zero.
  20. Just changed this year, Exide Start-Stop AGM 72Ah 760A 135 EUR. But the accu center coded all wrong, the battery charging was abnormal. Even after long ride battery showed 12,3 V. AGM should be 12,8. Weird was, that even my coding done by VCDS did not work. Skoda dealership recoded it and now everything is ok.
  21. First make sure, what battery type you have. AGM or EFB. Probably AGM though. The original one is usually Varta. Do not forget to recode the car after swapping the battery, otherwise the charging could be problematic. Suggest to buy your own battery and get it changed at dealers. Unless you own a VCDS. New battery should be around 120 - 150 eur. 110 quit about in average.
  22. Correct, it is not a component but ECU remapping. https://en.bsr.se/tuning-kits/Skoda/2019/Kodiaq/2.0-BiTDI
  23. Kodiaq is very picky for the USB cables, so try a different one.
