  1. @toney_g Hold the horses, I will check mine tomorrow. I have the SD card on random play, so I don`t fiddle much with controls, but I am pretty sure you can navigate with steering wheel arrows through all the folders. It was the same on Superb II so would not rush to change the dash.
  2. 12,8 - 12,9V This is for the most of the time. Sometimes it can be lower, as the alternator is not keeping the voltage at highest. Sometimes it can drop to 12,5 and only then the alternator will give a full job.
  3. I have virtual cockpit but I guess the logics are pretty similar. I have no problem navigating the SD card on virtual cockpit. Only thing I can remeber that there were limitations about the number of subfolders. Too many of them and the system cannot dig in. Of you have any USB sockets in your car, they will work as a media source for a USB stick for example.
  4. I have studded 235/55/18 tyres fitted on these. Completely normal.
  5. On the other hand, I have done tons of mods, suitable for Superb 2. Totally different platform. Will post some mods I have done yet in the next days.
  6. They are both using MQB platform so I assume there will be no difference, maybe some minor details.
  7. That`s german logic :) Kodiaq has 3 thermostats and the gearbox one fails often. I do not know the exact circuit of coolant but it`s for sure the gearbox thermostat affects all the circuit. Including the cabin heating.
  8. Is it sarcasm or for real?
  9. Yes, when thermostat fails, it will not blow hot air anymore. Occasionally may, but most time not.
  10. Not sure it will help but worth to try.
  11. No, just personal experience.
  12. Get the gearbox thermostat changed (yes, gearbox). Thei fail very often. Doesn`t cost much.
  13. AFAIK there must be a sticker with options codes installed in the boot, around spare wheel area. Engine is either 150 HP DFGA or 190 HP DFHA.
  14. I had few months ago rear pads changed. Friend did it for free. Cost of Brembo pads 36 eur.
  15. Thread could be useful.
  16. I have made tons of VCDS mods also, would be interesting to see, what you have done.
  17. Take it to the dealer and let check the battery management system. They tend to fail on VAG cars.
  18. My MIB 2,5 Columbus does this - if you start playing SD card from virtual cockpit, it starts from the beginning. If you start it on the headunit, it continues where it stopped. MIB 3 is of course a different animal. One more thing - check the filesystem of your SD card. NTFS works fine, but I undestand VW media likes FAT more.
  19. I was remembered wrong, 82 Ah AGM is correct. And yes, original one was Varta. Just a reminder - coding is done at official dealer. Webasto consumes a lot. If there is -25 celsius outside, it needs at least 40 minutes to get car warm.
  20. Do also a full scan with VCDS and erase all the faults. Lots of things not working after the battery change unless you don`t clear these.
  21. I went to the official dealer and coding was done using ODIS. Will check tomorrow what the exact coding is there.
  22. Everything above written is true. But there is always a "but". My case - changed the battery to Exide last year. Garage coded the car with Exide dongle. But the charging voltage was always less than 13 volts instead of 14,8 as usual. Was not enough. Coded myself with VCDS. Exide code - fleece - 72 Ah. Nothing. Went to dealers, they recoded it again. Instead of Exide code there was a reading on VCDS, something "not this battery" or something like that, very ridiculous. But it started to charge finally. So, change only the Ah reading and change the battery serial and should be done. But I suggest to buy some cheap ELM327 OBD device to monitor the charging just in case it wouldn`t go wrong as in my case. And yes - AGM is not AGM on VCDS, always "fleece".
  23. I had these as standard from the factory. Alloys - good choice. I gave 3 sets, 20" summer, 18" studded for domestic rides and 18" non studded for European trips.
