Picked up the beast todayπππ
When I was a kid, I was asked to take the directors automatic jag down the road for some new tyres. It was lunch time and all the office girls were walking down the road. I accelerated out the car park and went for the clutch just as I was overtaking them. The car came to a juddering halt with tyre smoke everywhere. An embarrassing lesson if there ever was one! Anyway, liking the red on your new beastie (I wish mine was red), and I hope its got dcc as you'll need it for towing imho π

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I've told my insurers about my latest mods and they replied... In response to your query, we have added Suspension Uprated/Lowered/Stiffened Springs & Dampers and Anti roll bars to your policy as you have requested and these have not affected your premium. Please contact us if you have any queries.

Exhausts
Did you see Roscio's comments about him wanting to change the centre resonator for one from these chaps https://vibrantperformance.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1527_1032_1535_1110&osCsid=d59361c9af4e2e8137bfd9e3d9e26248

280 Sportline - best option for reducing float/bounce and improved cornering
Almost.... In my book it needs a louder exhaust note to go with it, and stage 2 of course π

Living With A Sportline Plus 272 Hatch
My son took me back to collect my car from clp on Thursday evening. Whilst we were sat outside in his car having a vape, I heard a car come speeding up the cul de sac and I thought that sounds nice I wonder what is? I looked round and it was mine lol

280 Sportline - best option for reducing float/bounce and improved cornering
That 'boaty' feeling has definitely gone. No more bouncing after going over speed humps. I now hit the speed bumps and the shock is absorbed straight away - none of the 2 or 3 bounces anymore. And its not too harsh a ride either. Just right I would say. No more worrying about the car drifting away at cornering either. I've not had chance to test the braking on rough surfaces yet, but I have every confidence it will have improved if all of the above are anything to go by. I am a happy bunny - If only penguin17 would return to give us the dimensions on his golf r estate backboxes, then that would make my day π

Bonnet vents
Has anyone ever given thoughts to fitting functional bonnet vents? The strengthening beams on the underside don't leave much room to do this but I guess that part can be reworked. I would like to put wire meshing on the underside of the vents to. I have given thought to protection from water too and I have drawn inspiration from https://g35driver.com/forums/g-spot/380511-diy-rain-guards-ts-hood.html I would also like to be able to remove the water shield in summer so I can hear the engine noises. I welcome your positive thoughts......
