  1. I cant remember off the top of my head, but if you can take a wheel off and find the two coloured dot stickers on your own springs, it will tell us a lot on what you have fitted.....
  2. Changed the bracket on mine, and the error went off after going over 50mph....
  3. I dont have valves on my remus boxes, and like you, it goes quieter after a minute of warming up. So no, it's not valve related. Supersprint eh. So your the one keeping them in business
  4. before spending any money swap the coil packs round on 1 and 3 with 2 & 4, and see of the misfire shifts. If it does, its the coil packs and not the plugs
  5. As Awesam has said, the tvs stage 3 tune on the dq250 is fantastic. You can't 'feel' any gear change. You can only hear it. Epic.
  6. I'm non dcc, and ive got koni's and eibach springs (same ride height), and its just perfect.
  7. Mines on here, but its a meagre sportline.....
  8. DAB in my 2017 motor is also intermittent, but i can live with it. It's not a patch on the wifes much newer MG.
  9. Yes, DSG is TVS stage 3. Ive always been interested in modding my cars too, and this one was the only sensible thing in budget that could pull a caravan too. I still get 21mpg with the van on the back, and i can live with that. I can still get high 30's to the gallon, if i drive like the grandad.....that i am. The kids love it and i see no reason whatsoever to change it. If it breaks, fix it and carry on.
  10. The front fog lights are fixed aren't they? They dont swivel do they? I know the bulbs fit other cars, i just want to be sure they dont move, before i start my next project. Thanks
  11. Yes. Its stage 3, 523hp. I've got the parts for the next stage up, and am just waiting for the garage to call me in to have it done. Such an underrated motor, and a far cry from the things we used to laugh at in the 70's & 80's.
  12. Ohh, i havent got DCC.
  13. Welcome to the group. Nice motor - It's identical to mine
  14. 235/40/19's on mine - but a wet field wont put me off
  15. I tow a 4 birth caravan in my 280. Love it. It wont pull it through muddy fields though. The wheels just spin and just digs deeper into the soil if its 'that wet'.
  16. Monroe shock absorbers are ^&*() in my opinion. They are the worst thing skoda decided to fit to their superbs.
  17. There's a science to the helmholtz resonator. You have to have it matched to your car to cancel out the drone. And obviously it's not cheap. There isn't an off the shelf option for the superb. Things may seem to be the same on the mqb platform, but they are not.
  18. I have tried 2 new usb sticks and formatted them both and copied music to them and they play just fine, but when i add the mib folders to the usb and stick it back in the car, it says source not supported, and it wont even recognise the music! 😠 Ignore me, ive been stupid. I went into the nav settings option and saw the sd/usb update option. Clicked that and it is now updating.
  19. Whats the story on fitting other skoda (or even audi & vw ) wheels to mk3 superbs? I've got a 280 estate and i would like to have a spare set of wheels for winter. Do 20inch wheels from the Kodiaq say, fit straight on without having to use spigot rings or spacers?
  20. 523hp on the v4 - hoping for more than that with the v5 on a forged block and ported head with slightly bigger valves. Nice to hear you're back in the fold
  21. I've got a ttv4 coming off my 280 in a month or so. Being replaced with a ttv5. lol
  22. Thanks for the link. Ive downloaded and unzipped the file. Mine is an mib2 setup. Do i need to copy the mib1 folder to perform the update? Thanks.
