Yes, and it's 100% recommended that you use the same tyre compound front and rear.

Skoda Kodiaq vRS to be removed from sale due to emissions rules
Would be like a Cupra Ateca without the rubbish interior... I somewhat doubt it'll be getting the full fat 280PS motor (MY21 Superb has had the OPF engine bumped back up to 280PS) but instead the Octavia RS 245PS motor. Not sure if Skoda would get approval to get the same engine as their upcoming flagship Tiguan R but who knows as the Tiguan R has an uprated tune of 320PS.

New order, wondered about extras
In the UK is there a driver assist package comes with emergency assist? I believe for MY21 cars the top end driver assist package should come with multi-lane emergency assist. Multi-lane emergency assist requires side assist (blind spot monitoring)

Or don't be cheap and replace all four? You should be rotating every 15,000km.

Skoda Kodiaq vRS to be removed from sale due to emissions rules
Seeing how expensive they are in Europe it’s pretty clear that they make the most margin from the RS. Absolute cash cow for ŠKODA even though market share for the model wasn’t as much as Octavia RS

Model Year 21 Changes
As expected. Looks really good

Skoda Kodiaq vRS to be removed from sale due to emissions rules
Ah nice, I’m was looking at replacing my Golf R wagon with an M340i (save the fuel economy whining Shy you know I don’t care) but I just couldn’t get comfortable in it even after an overnight test drive. How do you find the seats? For MY21 they’ve introduced some new M Performance seats which are from the X3 M which has me interested again. I had a sit in the X5 M with similar looking seats but apparently they’re different to the new ones in the 3 series.

Skoda Kodiaq vRS to be removed from sale due to emissions rules
Enyaq 80X and RS probably aren't available yet. I'm definitely looking forward to see them land here, I love electric for town driving. If I had a 3 car garage there'd be an e-Golf parked next to my Kodiaq...

Skoda Kodiaq vRS to be removed from sale due to emissions rules
Enyaq 80 is 204PS 310Nm with an 8.5s 0-100 with the 'Founders Edition' being £49,995 pre govt. grant. Pretty obvious the 80X and RS will cost more than the Kodiaq RS equipped with the same spec level.

Skoda Kodiaq vRS to be removed from sale due to emissions rules
So what's the bloody point in citing the national speed limit when someone said the Enyaq is slow compared to the Kodiaq RS? And nobody cares about your fuel economy.

Which is why your car is tuned, yes?

Skoda Kodiaq vRS to be removed from sale due to emissions rules
Makes no sense in the UK to get one really. At that money I'd rather get an X5.

Fallout Remover...Yeah or Nay?
Do a chemical decontamination every 4 months with a product like CarPro TriX. You should only do a very light clay once a year. You want to decon as little as possible.

New Kodiaq arrived...MY21 query!
Same roller with push function as per our cars. I love the new steering wheel, especially in the sport 3 spoke trim. Dealer would charge like £600 to get the sat nav activated I think

Kodiaq Sportline 190tdi DSG-mpg??
Managing 35mpg on my RS brim to brim. Rather annoying that the low fuel warning is so early, as I'd rather it go off at 50km range than 100km...

Kodiaq Roof Box
For what it’s worth the Thule recommenced foot pack for the Kodiaq was the 775 before the instruction of the new Evo raised rail foot pack - which uses a clamp mechanism rather than the strap. If I had the roof rack on permanently I would rather a clamp fitting, as the Wingbar Edge I have on my Passat is around 2yo and most of the rubber on the strap has dried and cracked, with some parts just coming off like crumbs.

Touch up stick
Sometimes you can get a body shop to make some for you. I doubt your car is old enough to need perfectly matched paint though? Not much variance out the factory nowadays.
-
DSG or not DSG that is the question?
Those who complain about the auto hold system need more practice ‘finessing’ the brakes. It’s not like torque converters with auto hold are much different.

Aftersale- front sensors/electric boot
Yeah, compared to all the Japanese cars I've seen, Skoda has faster electric tailgates. I think the fastest ones are in the BMW wagons if I recall correctly, super quiet too.

You can push the wiper stalk away from you and it’ll wash the camera with a water jet.

PPF
I have Suntek Ultra PPF, one of the best films in the segment. Minimal difference in orange peel compared to the rest of the paint, and since I got the whole front end done there's no ugly line somewhere down the bonnet. I would 100% recommend getting your B pillar trim PPF'd to avoid swirling since the trim is so soft.

SE-L wheel finish
Results from using Brake Buster through the foam blaster and just letting sit then pressure spray off...

SE-L wheel finish
Give it a go mate, I've gone through at least 5 different wheel cleaners and I've found the one...
