According to an email received from Skoda earlier today, my Kodiaq has finally left the factory and should be with my dealer soon.

Assuming your car has stop/ start and therefore a micro hybrid / smart alternator charge system that will only charge and maintain the battery at around 80% to allow space to dump charge when on the overrun. The voltage readings you have seem perfectly fine.

I’ve ordered it too, on the facelift it is a £55 option, but this could be due to having the camera for the matrix headlights mounted in the mirror housing. So it could be correct that you had to add options that included the camera to get the usb socket.

The 2022 facelift Kodiaq’s led matrix headlights in this thread are totally different from previous versions.

The Octavia must be different from previous versions/ models, as tapping the KESSY indent or pressing the remote lock button twice always disabled the deadlock and turned off the alarm interior monitoring.

If you press the lock button on the remote, then touch the KESSY lock indent on the door handle, KESSY is disabled. Easy enough to get into the habit of doing, especially when parking in a dubious area.

Relay theft is widespread and well publicised. As mentioned above it’s easy to disable KESSY when locking car. And you can get 2 faraday pouches to keep your keys in when at home for well under £10.

As your Kodiaq has the rating plate on the drivers door pillar, and it has a towing weight on it, you do not need to have towbar prep done at the factory. I believe Skoda are now saying, that if you order a new Kodiaq and do not order a factory fit tow bar, or at least have the tow bar prep from the factory then it MIGHT not have the rating plate filled in and therefore could be illegal to fit a towbar. As of yet I haven’t seen or heard any reports of this actually happening.

I’ve been watching this too. Considering the amount of cars that were stockpiled there at the beginning of January. I believe mine has been there since it was built in August, so hopefully it’s now back at factory to be completed, along with all those that have been waiting a longtime for their Kodiaq’s.

If the superb is same as Kodiaq, it’s under the vehicle status menu - tyre pressure loss indicator- set. Or if you have a physical tyre pressure reset button as in my previous yeti, press that.

There are a few on here from the UK that ordered around the same time and later, including vRS which was not available when I ordered, that have already received their orders. The OP of this thread ordered his vRS in July and it arrived in October.

Build date was week beginning 16th August, delivery was due to be September, which was changed to November, still waiting.

Yes, I added winter pack, virtual cockpit, family pack, USB port at rear view mirror, and Canton. Canton is no longer available to order, and the electric child lock option has been removed from the family pack. I’ve had no indication that these options are causing the delay, and I’ve had no contact as to if I want to remove these options to speed up my order, nor have I heard that these options have been removed from my order.

My Sportline certainly has been delayed. Ordered June 21, built August 21, I believe it’s been sitting at Kralove airfield since.

The plate is on the lower drivers door b pillar .

Just been informed by dealer that status of my June 21 order has changed to “factory transit”. Not sure if this means my Kodiaq is in transit from Kralove airfield, where I believe it’s been parked up since August, back to the factory for completion or if it’s left the factory on way to Emden. At least something is happening at last, hopefully won’t be long now.

Almost all dash cams are 5v and are powered from a 12v/5v adaptor, so are fine powered from a 5v usb socket, you just need the appropriate cable.

Well, if yours doesn’t have them, the guy that posted on the other forum I mentioned above has a full set of aero covers still in sealed bags that were supplied with his car, and he’s hoping to sell on.

Apparently according to a post on the Kodiaq owners forum, the aero covers are only fitted if requested at pdi. Wheel centre and bolt covers fitted instead.

Only change I’ve noticed, is brochure implies that the under passenger seat drawer is now omitted from Sportline.

Going by Skoda logic, they’ll start to build them soon, park them up at Kralove airfield for 6 months awaiting components to complete build, and not pass any info onto dealers/ customers as to what’s happening.

I’ve never seen or heard of the auto brake function you talk of. There is an autohold function and a button to turn it on or off beside the EHB. The autohold works by keeping the hydraulic pressure on all 4 wheels, same as if you were to keep your foot on the brake pedal, it does not apply the EHB. You are correct in that the EHB will apply when you turn off ignition and also when you open drivers door.

A 16 x6” steel wheel fitted with a 195x60 x16 tyre is the Skoda approved size supplied with the spare wheel option. As mentioned above this wheel tyre combo have almost the same circumference as the standard fit 17” wheels. A skinny space saver spare wheel as such, has never been supplied nor recommended for fitting to a yeti no matter what some unscrupulous eBay sellers tell you, only the size mentioned above is the correct fitment.
