Air conditioning stops working after 100km driving
House ac systems same as fridges are completely different from automotive ac systems. The house systems have a hermetically sealed compressor and as such the system is completely sealed. Vehicle system are different as the compressor is open and relies on shaft seals also the system has flexible hoses to allow for vibration/ movement etc all of which are prone to gas permeating out of the system . It is generally accepted that automobile ac systems can loose up to 10% of refrigerant annually .

1.5 DSG MPG horrific
Exactly. My Kodiaq has the digital dash with the whimsical and probably totally inaccurate kw gauge, which normally indicates in the 10-20kw range (14-27hp approx.) or less @ 70 mph on the A1.

1.5 DSG MPG horrific
Short trip taking Mrs R to hairdresser this morning , 40.9 mpg indicated. This is in normal mode with eco 2 cylinder mode activated almost from start and for quite a bit of the journey. Also the Kodiaq’s weight has an advantage , as it surprising how far you can maintain speed coasting when you lift off the accelerator.

1.5 DSG MPG horrific
As does mine, surprisingly how quickly it cuts in after cold start. Very rarely see below 30mpg around town and 41mpg best achieved on a run. Only done around 1.5k miles expecting consumption to improve.

Snow chains
The recommended 17” wheel size is 6.5 x17. ET 38 5x112 PCD and a centre bore of 57.1. Fitted with a 215x65x17 tyre and as noted chain links must be no larger than 13mm. The part numbers for the recommended Nanuq 17” alloys are… silver 565071497 8Z8 black 565071497D FL8 I have a set of Borbet TL alloys 7x17 ET40 with 215x65 winter tyres I use during the winter months , but here in the uk have no need for snow chains.

Keyless entry
I think you miss understand how KESSY works. It does not unlock when you are near the car, you have to grab the door handle with the key on your person same as you have to touch the indent on the door handle to lock, it doesn’t automatically lock if you walk away. Correct method on using KESSY in previous post.

If they are the same as my previous yeti, the back seats can slide back and forth. Yours are obviously in the most forward position.

Skoda Connect
Skoda Connect service is only free for the first year. If you haven’t paid the second year subscription could be why it doesn’t now work.

Aftermarket towbar
According to the latest Kodiaq brochure, if you don’t order towbar prep or towbar from factory the towing data plate is blank so technically it won’t be legal to fit a towbar.

TSI 1.5 oil specification changes
You’ll never know how much oil has been lost if you have never checked it in a year, and you are assuming it was at the correct level post pdi . How much oil did it take to return to correct level?

Air Con
If you have climate press the auto button and ac on and all should be back to normal. Garage probably turned it off.

rearview mirror cover?
I’m assuming you mean door mirrors. You can get standard ones currently here. The part no. is shown you might be able to source local. Their 360° area view camera version is not ready yet. Surely you could remove covers and paint or wrap them black as a cheaper alternative.

Software update process
- Is it worth extending the Kodiaq's warranty ?
So glad I opted for the first 2 services for £159 offer when I bought mine.- Exhaust pipe?
I fitted Milotec ones to my previous Kodiaq. Easy to fit, and brighten up the black slab of bumper a bit. https://milotec.de/Milotec-exhaust-screen-dummies-for-Kodiaq-silver::3621.html- Wing mirror repeater harness/plug

- Software Updates
The yellow A with a red line through it and a traffic cone , is showing that the rear manoeuvre braking is disabled as you have a trailer attached so the rear sensors are not in operation.- Oil overheating and low oil pressure warning
Oil temperature not that bad seen similar on my previous 1.8 tsi yeti when giving it some beans , would imagine towing a load would be similar. If the oil pressure low warning is only recently and I presume you’ve checked the oil level, then I would be questioning what oil was put in at oil change. - Is it worth extending the Kodiaq's warranty ?
