As above loose/ damaged connection, lamp loose in holder allowing lamp to vibrate, touching lamp glass when installing, cheap lamps?

The Skoda system is a complete joke at the moment. I was informed my Kodiaq went into production 16/8 and to expect delivery in September, then changed to delivery in November now according to dealer system says still in production but “delayed “. A phone call from customer service yesterday seemed to imply that I wouldn’t see my Kodiaq till next year 😞

Totally agree. I ordered in June, build week was 16th August and all the info I’ve had so far is “ car is still in production but delayed”. Dealer is getting no tangible info from Skoda, and Skoda customer service is as much good as a chocolate teapot, latest from them is don’t expect delivery any time soon.

Yetis have never had a 4x4 button. Some 4x4 yetis did have an off road button that adds some extra electronic wizardry such as downhill assist, and alters the abs, asr and edl settings but a 4x4 yeti without the off road button is very capable of tackling off road situations as many on here have proved.

No, but you can turn off convenience opening/closing of the windows in the menu. If you have key personalisation you will need to do it for both keys. If the child presses the remote unlock button accidentally again the car should re lock ( assuming it was locked) , can’t remember time but around 1 min, if no doors have been opened.

All I’ve been getting in my fortnightly email updates from the dealer since mine supposedly went into production mid August is “Delayed “. No indication’s if it might appear this year or next.

Probably removing some options such as Canton as they’ve done on other models.

I don’t know what response your expecting, if you signed the deal your order should have went in that day or at least the next day. You MIGHT get an email from Skoda UK saying thanks for your order, but until the dealer gets a built date, which is unlikely to be any time soon, it’s not unusual to not hear anything. Did the dealer give you an expected delivery date. There’s plenty post on here of delivery delays, and recent orders being given as March/April 2022.

Are you using a Mac perhaps? as extra files are left on the SD card which the Skoda system doesn’t like. If using a pc. If the downloaded files from the update portal are unzipped to a 32gb SD card that’s formatted fat 32 you shouldn’t have any problems.

It’s fine to turn the autohold off if you require, but if you feather the brake pedal you’ll learn to use the brake without the autohold cutting in when it’s switched on, allowing small movements to be made without having to touch the accelerator.

The first notch up is the auto wiper setting and the sensitivity is adjusted using the dial on top or the stalk. Looks like you’ve selected the next notch up which is manual constant, and the next one up is constant fast speed wipers.

I had VW Caddy centre caps, on my first Yeti winter wheels. I drilled the centers and fitted Skoda centre caps to cover the VW logo. On my second Yeti I had to fit a set of Skoda Riff wheel trims as Mrs R didn’t like the rat look black steelies. The answer to your questions is it’s really down to aesthetics, if your happy with the black that’s the way to go, and you can easily wash salt/ crud off as required.
