Are you driving up all those hills? 😄 Only got 55 MPG / 5.1 L per 100km from my last tank. 2016 5 DR Hatch 90PS 1.2 TSI 5MT 94K miles, Winter Tyres. E5. But my regular journey is 12 miles / 19 Km in the country. Oil can take most of this journey to warm up fully. Bedankt. AG Falco

For the last 100 metres of the journey I will gently apply the handbrake, when it is wet. Also I have found that going forward first works better, after parking. So if you park on a drive or in a parking bay, always back in. Thanks. AG Falco

The ears on the silver clip fit behind the two torx screws at 9 & 3 O Clock in your photo above. Flat end first. Tab needs to be pointing in the right direction. Compare to the other side! They are renowned for being tight. If you were in the engine bay it is turn clockwise to locate. Full / main beam are the inner two bulbs with dipped beam being the outer two bulbs. HTH. Thanks. Which headlamp system have you got? Two x H4 twin filament bulbs or Four x H7 single filament bulbs. Headlight bulbs are normally fused individually. Have you got the silver ring still? Thanks. AG Falco

I checked the cambelt change intervals for my 2016 1.2 TSI before I bought it new. Belt is/was made by Conti with a recommendation to INSPECT it at 165 K miles. And then to check it at every 20K miles later. You can look at the cambelt by only removing two pipes and one 10mm bolt. Service records / workshop invoices are not allowed to be passed on by a business if they have personal details on them because of GDPR regulations. If only they could cover up the personal details and copy the rest. ☹️ Thanks. AG Falco

I think that a 205mm wide tyre is 20mm wider than a 185mm wide tyre. This is not the only width/height problem. The spare tool kit foam insert sits at different heights depending on the spare wheel being used. I see some of my photos are above illustrating this very point. Thanks. AG Falco

The wheel size also need to match the tyre size. The difference between 235 wide and 255 wide is 20mm. You would expect the wheel with the 255 tyre to be wider than the 235 wheel. Wheel widths go up in 1/2'' steps. Normally the 255 would be on an inch wider wheel. You have also quote three different tyre sizes in your first post? Thanks. AG Falco

1, It would exceed the manufactures specification. 2. Depends on the make / quality of the tyre, tyre pressures used. Tyres as they age get harder and this also degrades the ride. So just fitting the same tyres as you had but with newer ones will improve the ride. You can find many budget tyres make a thicker / heavier tyre than the premium makes in the same size. In the winter, tyres with more natural rubber will produce a better ride. Again premium tyres can have more ( expensive ) natural rubber in them. Tyres get harder the colder it gets, unless you run winter tyres. HTH Thanks. AG Falco

From memory I inputted the following: - I entered the new battery capacity ( up from 049 to 060 (AH's)), space, UNK ( for the battery manufacturer ), space, and added 1 to the serial number ( ten digits ) and confirmed. Eg:- 060 UNK 1111111112 This was with OBDeleven. Thanks. AG Falco

Did the new battery get programmed to the car? On the Mk III Fabia there is a button on the dash. You can also use some OBD2 software to turn it off permanently like OBDeleven. Thanks. AG Falco
