  1. First thing I would do is fill the car with a good tank of premium petrol and a can / bottle of injector cleaner. I use Tesco Momentum petrol and something like Redex petrol injector cleaner. Then when this is in the car and the engine is hot, use the engine firmly. I go up a long hill using full throttle in a lower gear with the revs above 4k all the way. Obviously clear the code first and then see if it or another code comes back after the above. Thanks. AG Falco
  2. I can not check exactly because I don't know your exact car but look at Klarius here : - https://www.onlineautomotive.co.uk/skoda/fabia/exhausts/centre-exhaust-silencers I think Euro Car Parts can supply Klarius and they have two depots in Edinburgh : - https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/klarius-centre-silencer-704445321 Thanks. AG Falco
  3. I have always turned the stop/start off every journey with my car from new. I am still on the original EFB battery at 9 years old and 92K miles. Stop/Start will still work if I try it. This is also interesting on the wear aspect of stop/start : - Thanks. AG Falco
  4. Put one of your wheels in the boot and see how it sits. The Polystyrene part should fit inside the wheel with a 16'' rim. Thanks. AG Falco
  5. What size tyres/wheels have you got? I have a Steel 15'' spare wheel with a 185 60 15 tyre on it from my Fabia III. Are you anywhere near N Dorset? Thanks. AG Falco
  6. Perhaps the light switch and/or the stalk? Thanks. AG Falco
  7. Ask @pab567 Thanks. AG Falco
  8. Stupid question:- Is there power getting to the bulb connector? Have you taken the bulbs out and checked that both filaments work in each bulb? Thanks. AG Falco
  9. Is it the relay then! Can you swap it for a known good one? Thanks. AG Falco
  10. No options/apps for Android auto or ios car play within the Swing system. Thanks. AG Falco
  11. Have you tried using a short headphone jack ( if the Iphone has one ) to plug in the the jack plug in the front of the Swing Radio? You want a male to male 3.5 mm one like this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00E0IPUTE Charge the Iphone from the 12 volt power outlet by the gearlever? No. Thanks. AG Falco
  12. Part of the heating ventilation system. Under the bonnet is the intake. To the right of the glovebox is the fan/flaps. Possibly a fan or flap moving, or trying to move. Is the recycle mode button on? Thanks AG Falco
  13. https://www.skoda.co.uk/discover/contact-us [email protected] Is there not a drain hole? Thanks. AG Falco
  14. If the car has Smartlink and Carplay installed you can use an iphone with a charging/data cable in to the USB socket. This will work using the steering wheel buttons. Info here: - https://www.skoda-auto.com/connectivity/connect With an ipod it should connect and play using the AUX input plug. ( looks like a headphone socket ) Don't think the steering wheel buttons will work though. There should also be an SD card socket ( hidden ) in the glove box which will work. HTH Thanks. AG Falco
  15. What year is your Fabia III? The very early one's might not work. My 2016 will though. Thanks. AG Falco
  16. On my Fabia and VW UP the mirrors will heat up independently of the rear demister. But yes anywhere between L and R will put the heated mirrors on. Be warned they don't appear to turn off automatically and there is no warning light. On a Peugeot I had they would automatically heat when you put the rear demister on. And they would automatically all turn off after a short while. But was no way to turn them on independently. Thanks. AG Falco
  17. There are no arrows on the switch. You need to push the switch / joy stick in the direction of the arrow ( in the handbook ) that corresponds with the direction you want the mirror to move. So pull down/back to lower the mirror. This is with the dot on the end of the switch / joy stick lined up with the mirror you want to adjust. L for Left, & R for Right mirror. You need the ignition on for this to work. HTH Thanks. AG Falco
  18. Yes lots of torque, but low down the rev range. So you use this all the time without trying to hard. Mine has max torque from 1500rpm right up to 3500 rpm. My Fabia is also better on fuel than my Citigo. ☺️ Thanks. AG Falco
  19. I have a Citigo that has been remapped from 60 to 84BHP. It was worth doing but it has no where near the go in my 1.2 Fabia TSI 90. Thanks. AG Falco
  20. From inside the wheel arch, behind the fog lamp unit. The hole is for adjusting the beam direction. Thanks. AG Falco
  21. Which engine power do you have, 60 or 75? Thanks. AG Falco
  22. Come across this regularly. Ask them ( the Dealer ) if they will change the seal , you will change the review! Thanks. AG Falco https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6584893/trust-pilot-can-they-be-trusted
  23. Above £400.00. Note this is for the front right unit : - https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/6v2941016b-front-right-headlamp-h7-led-skoda-51097.html Thanks. AG Falco
  24. Change to a taller tyre would do this! But this would give you slower acceleration! My TSI 5 Speed is at 130 KMH at 3000 RPM. Thanks. AG Falco
