  1. Generally 340-345 miles with about 15 mile left on reserve. But either way the actual mileage is only 34mpg, displayed by the car and the app I use that calculates it
  2. Mapping diesels always helps, but I was always of the impression petrols were the opposite.
  3. I get about 340 miles from a tank. But use a fuel app anyway and averaging 34mpg
  4. Hi guys, Apologies if this has been covered before, but just curious. I have a Vrs 230 Fl on a 2017 plate. It is a 6 speed manual. It is standard with no mods or maps. I expected to get 38-40mpg on average just bimbling about and changing gear around 2k rpm. Sadly the most I see is 34-35mpg. My main journey every day is 13 miles of dual carriageway at 60-70mph each way. Just starting this thread, as a mate of mine has a 69 plate Vrs 245 Dsg, he has just had it mapped to 302bhp and still gets 40mpg. Is there something wrong with mine, or is dsg just more economical?
  5. It seems like most people remove the plastic trim at the base of the wheels, especially the Vrs ones, I can only assume that it is to sell them, but despite almost every wheel having it missing i have not found a single used one for sale anywhere. Where do they all go?
  6. What is the difference between airbags. There seems to be so many different characters at the end. I.e 5e3 880 201 S I have acquired 5e3 880 201 AA. I have no idea what the difference is and just need to know it will fit the Vrs flat bottom wheel when i finally get hold of one. Was removed from this wheel
  7. Anyone got any tips on sourcing a Mk4 flat bottom heated wheel? All between 200-400 without airbag
  8. Did you manage to get all the buttons working, including the heated steering button?
  9. What lin convertor did you use. Also did you manage to get the heated wheel button to work?
  10. Got a link to the lin convertor?
  11. What module are you referring to?
  12. Can anyone provide a link to the lin adapter mentioned
  13. Please provide a link
  14. I am interested in the lin. Please do right by forum users and share the info
  15. Mine had the same error. You just need to change the coding to not installed. Error gone and not returned
  16. Ideally would like to know the factory heated seat temperatures for each level. Mine are set at 22.5, 36.5 and 53.5
  17. Got it all sorted in the end See my update on this thread
  18. Finally got it all done. See my progress on the end of this thread https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/464025-vrs-heated-leather-seat-retrofit/?tab=comments#comment-5208464
  19. An old thread I know, but just in case anyone is wondering what thecurrent cost would be. I just did the front seats in my 2017 Vrs 230. It cost me £378 to do it myself. 1. Control panel with heated seat buttons £54.54 (eBay) 2. Kufatec looms for each seat and fuse.box loom £146.47 (Kufatec) 3. Genuine skoda pads with heated side bolsters for base and backrest - £88.63 per seat (Skodaparts.com)
  20. A few helpful links related to this topic: Changing the wheel https://wirer.sk/o3_volant22-vymena/ Convertor module to menus https://wirer.sk/o3_volant22-modul/ Getting the heated wheel button working https://wirer.sk/o3_volant22-vyhrev/
  21. Have you enabled the button in the coding
  22. Ah ok. Thanks. I will keep looking, will be summer before I find parts I bet..
  23. How much did you pay for the airbag?
  24. This is different to the one you linked, Did you try this one as well?
  25. Im leaning towards the Mk4 wheels, but can't find any heated ones for less than 350 at the moment. Although there is this one on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145474916031?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=TwLt6nBIS1-&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=bgl1-3D-RMG&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY It will be plus Vat and import fees, so could be less than 300. Would still need airbag, the Vrs bottom trim piece, clock spring and wiring. Search everywhere for the Vrs trim piece, most places want £40 quid. Crazy. Not sure why but almost all the wheels for sale have it removed.
