  1. immobiliser kicking in, mine did the same when i pulled the fuse for the ESP, same fuse does the immobiliser.
  2. Mines has been off since it ate the pads at Donington. Love having a properly LSD now though.
  3. How do you maintain your speed going down a hill in snow, I’ll give you a clue, you don’t use the brakes. @e-Roottoot imagine if we brought xds into it that will really confuse them.
  4. I never even managed to cook the brakes once doing super lap Scotland, god knows now many track days and top speed runs at elvington 😂
  5. And Skoda spent how many millions in research and development into developing the braking system? I doubt they just go to a parts room find a set and go that’ll do like most folk that do “big brake” upgrades.
  6. Thanks if only there was data logs too with a STCC touring car and a production saloon race car with btcc ap brakes to compare the 288’s with eh?
  7. not really if they dont dissipate properly
  8. size doesn't matter, friction does. i'd put money on my car out braking your leon.
  9. im still on 288s with a 2 litre Rubbish.
  10. CTHG seemed to have the most power and you don’t see a lot of issues with them.
  11. Couple of drive bys when i was at the dyno dynoing my mates 1.4 tsi
  12. Firstly in your first sentence it’s you’re not your and not sure why I’d be jealous of a slow car using built to a sub par and dangerous standard. Also good to see you’re admitting you’d only go to a drag strip because you now accept you’ll struggle round a track due to again your sub par knowledge on track driving, dynamics and basic physics. Didn’t actually ask darkside for any specific power 😂 heck I’d have been happy with 210bhp but at least I’ve got the balls to push things to the limit 🤷🏻‍♂️
  13. Haha it’s had 1 clutch due to it failing. Other one we just changed it as the gearbox was out to fit the diff but you’d know that wouldn’t you. maybe you should tell that to greddy then haha. you mean all you’ve did is fit stuff. 🤷🏻‍♂️ It’s plainly obvious you don’t know about handling or dynamics but don’t worry few of us are having a good laugh at this. I’ll have my ha ha meme prepared when you fire it backwards at druids at oulton when your mismatched tyres.
  14. Someone jealous haha when you coming on track to show us how it’s done? all I’ve learned from you is you don’t seem to know much. Wether it’s ether getting a 2 bar boost control to work on a 2.4 bar of boost engine set up like you claimed ( which it won’t) and also a lack of understanding of basic physics, chassis dynamics and handling. but then again I’ve only came away with several trophies in my diesel fabia from motorsport events over the years including a first......
  15. Not mismatched in sizes but in type and compound.
  16. Don’t like facts keep scrolling 🤷🏻‍♂️
  17. Mismatched tyres on track yep this is well thought through.
  18. finally got the new discs and pads though from mtec chucked on a set of cheap ecp pagid pads for the time being while waiting for these to come and yeah they were pretty done fresh discs and pads Also darkside sent me some of the new stickers certainly been an interesting 12 months thats for sure.

Not really, me and @Kenrw8 have met and I’ve been out in his car. My car ran over 40k mapped and with the new engine has done over 10k already
  20. Had a little trip down to Donington Park with Darkside last week to check out their new project cars and go out on track with them On the drive back at low speed braking heard a grinding noise from the back with low speed braking turns out the pads and discs now needed a change..... Less than a year and 15k miles on these. Also a little christmas eve drive out with a friend in his ibiza cupra
