  1. 1000 km Challenge, ID.4 comes out well. Enyaq with the optional fast charging will be similar. And the charging curve is none too shabby either
  2. We don't need a froot / frunk...
  3. Ohhh handy! thank you
  4. I'm trying to source a bootliner for my new VW ID.4. There are no custom fits available yet, so I was thinking what existing liners may fit. The boot looks similar in size to the many Kodiaqs I have seen, so would someone do me a favour and measure up their Kodiaq boot please? I'll be looking for width between arches, width by rear door and depth front to rear. Thanks.
  5. View Advert Travall Dog Guard for Karoq I have for sale a Travall Dog Guard in excellent condition. Fits into the car with no drilling or screws, so no damage to show if the guard is removed. Easy fit and does not rattle. The guard has been in my Karoq for the past three years, but now the car is gone, Will be packed in original packaging. Its one of these https://www.travall.co.uk/travall-guard-1590/dog-guard/luggage-barrier/skoda-karoq Photos below are of it fitted in my Karoq. 6. Nice. The interior looks much better than usual Asian cars.
  7. If you're asking which dealer, it was Mitchell's Ellesmere Port. The sales guy called me after he came back off furlough, but had my new car ordered by then.
  8. Managed to swap the blue one with another dealer to get the best colour...
  9. As I understand it, any car ordered before 18th but not yet processed through the grant portal will still get the grant as it was at time of ordering. So if you have ordered an Enyaq before yesterday, you are OK. This has been reported in the Telegraph and I had sight of information on the grant portal explaining it.

Well my thinking was how this will affect both buyers and dealers. Basically the cost of your car goes up £3k overnight with no warning, so that seems quite unfair. I do take the point that 'they' can do what they want. I have discovered that any cars ordered in the past month but not yet processed through the grant portal will still attract the grant payment, so buyers already committed to purchase are protected.
  11. Its going straight to the detailer for a buff up and ceramic coating, so will have it for an hour or so then lose it for a week!
  12. My Karoq has just been returned to the lease company this morning. It has been a very good car, absolutely ideal for our needs. We made the decision some time ago that our next car would be electric, so we were hoping the Enyaq would be the one, due to really liking our Karoq. Unfortunately, lead times and the ordering / launch chaos has meant that we dropped Skoda from our plans weeks ago. So the Karoq replacement will be an ID.4, picking up tomorrow. However, we still have our Citigo and the electric vehicle section on here is very interesting, so I'll be hanging about - just no longer a Skoda 'pure-blood'
  13. My Karoq went back to the lease company this morning. It's been a good car. Unfortunately the Enyaq order book did not open up in time for me, so its being replaced by a VW ID.4. We pick that up tomorrow.

How can they announce such a big change to run with 'immediate effect'?
  15. The PICG has been reduced again and is now only available on cars £35k or less. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/plug-in-car-van-and-truck-grant-to-be-targeted-at-more-affordable-models-to-allow-more-people-to-make-the-switch?fbclid=IwAR2uRO2ny7uTXcYtqjNiiZ09Q-bjWvZp7DWbEs-YfWjwLEAvsj1gVgK8nJ0
  16. I would imagine LG remains part of the plan, the amount of batteries required is massive. LG has a LOT of battery manufacturing capacity. If VW have torpedoed LG, it will most likely be a rebuke for them potentially screwing up VW battery supply in the US. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-lg-chem-sk-innovation-lawsuit-idUSKBN2AA2WR

  20. Hopefully this will improve motorway charging options, not just in England.

Thanks Danny, those of us without salary sacrifice have to pay full price, so knowing those numbers for comparison is a great help.

By using the term 'net cost' I assume you are getting your car through a salary sacrifice scheme? Can you tell us the gross amount for the lease?
  23. I think its telling that all the new cars I've looked at recently have hard covers.
  24. Had a look. The heat pump price has gone down from last I checked
