water dripping from a strange hole
Andacami replied to mjin's topic in Skoda Superb Mk I (2001-2008)
I'm looking for the AC condensate drain on my MK2. If it can be confirmed that this is indeed the drain hole, that would be great. My next step is to double check my MK2 and shove the air con cleaner and antibacterial spray tube up there... -
welcome.

Most folk have gone to the fuse box for switched live. There are at least three bolts within easy access into the chassis there too. If you've got to the footrest, suggest it won't take much to get to the fuse box area for the earth...

Camera --- calibration/ special equipment
Andacami replied to david 1220's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Plenty of posts about retro fit and calibration. A quick search should get you what you want but I would think they might be referring to a diagram that goes on the floor to calibrate the camera. -

I'm not sure what version firmware or maps I have already. I think I need VCDS to open up a menu or it will tell me as part of the scan or is there another way to tell? DVD that came with says Europe West (V7). However, should I feel the need, is this set of firmware and maps ok? I won't brick my 60 Plate Superb Estate Elegance Columbus unit will I? Portal just says " Your navigation can be updated only at the service. Please contact your dealer for more information".

FIXED Rear wash wipe not working
Andacami replied to Andacami's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Unsure, it is very dusty, looks like sand/cement has gone all over the place. Didn't consider water... I'll have a proper look. As for the space saver, no idea. I suspect it's not original. It came with it, no tools or jack, or bolt hold in down though. Another post on here seeking info on that... -
FIXED Rear wash wipe not working
Andacami replied to Andacami's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Fixed it Took apart the lock mechanism, could see that it clicks in twice and it's the second click that properly engages the lock and the micro switch. One can manually do this as there is the emergency escape lever to release it. I then plugged it back in and hey presto the boot open warning on the maxidot goes out and the wipers and wash work. So... Thinking about how it all fits together, I took a look at the hook mounting and noticed it's adjustable. Seems that many years of use has pushed the hook too far down. I moved it up about four mil and tightened it down. Then bolted the lock back on, crossed fingers and closed the tailgate. It worked perfectly Three screws hold the plastic and metal trim on, remove those and get it out the way. Pics below show next steps. Thanks for the replies earlier, gave me the confidence too have a go.
