  1. Nice. I was just referring to the pic above...
  2. I´ve read it. But this 125/70/18 is still a significantly smaller diameter than the standard wheels.
  3. Really a 'space saver" spare wheel, since diameter is still lower than normal "full size wheel".
  4. Hi, I've also posted in this thread about my father's bad experience on his Octy 3. Since then, I'm hesitating whether I shall remove the same bag or not on my Superb Mk3 (TDI190 engine). I can't really make up my mind about what to do... since I don't face particular problem at this time...
  5. OK, thanks for your feedbacks.
  6. OK. Do you think using only the front cam from the OEM 360 setup may work, or would it more probably generate error messages... (assuming it would eventually work)... ?
  7. @SashaGrace Congrats for your new car! Nice mods program! I'm eager to see a 'how to guide' from you concerning the front camera add. It doesn't seem an expensive mode, but I don't see how it should be connected to the Columbus to be triggered simultaneously with front parking sensors. I will probably wait until you do it !
  8. I don't have to complain about 19" and DCC. It's still very confortable in 'Normal' mode. I don't even mention 'comfort' mode). Things nevertheless change when I switch to Sport mode (as could be expected) or Individual mode (with sport suspensions). It then becomes harder, but not as "hard as a peach pit" (as we say in France) I also have to say that my 19' wheels are fitted with original Pirelli P7 Cinturato (on front wheels), which have quite "soft" side walls. I plan to change them for 2 Michelin PS4 (as my rear wheels) to improve steering accuracy and information feedbacks in the steering wheel.
  9. Be careful, it may call "car SOS" next time, if you don't treat it right!...
  10. I had the same kind of experience on my ex Superb Mk2, also fitted with P7 from new. Quite satisfied of these tyres at the beginning, I finally changed my mind after -30000 km. Reduced wearing indeed, but very downgraded grip in wet conditions. Just as efficient as a piece of soap in curves. I changed for 4 Michelin PS4 and it was night and day! Same conclusion on my current Superb Mk3: not satisfied with original P7. I´am going to change for Michelin PS4 again, when spring has come.
  11. Same as you. Ok for 4 doors lower part. but not fully convinced by the rear door edge.
  12. Cool ! I wish I could have with CarPlay and IPhone too...
  13. OK, I better understand your point now... I don't think this while be the key contributor to overall noise level increase.... Don't forget that the Superb Mk3 is fitted with double rubber seals on each doors. Thus I think it won't be very noticeable.
  14. @rlewis3003 It's written on them... AMG ones...
  15. @newbie69 Have a look here if needed. It's a french website, where I bought several LEDs. They have good quality products. Fully satisfied with them. May be you'll find what you're looking for: https://www.ledperf.com/kit-led-haute-puissance-h8-=c=-966_970.html
  16. Installing a roof rack increases the noise anyway. Though I have Thule wing bars, it is a bit noisy (but I still can here the kids and my wife speaking to me normally. They don't need to yell at me !). I can't say if it would be noisier with other roof racks. They're the first I have. IMHO, the noise is also strongly dependent on other factors too: - Your driving speed (air flow noises increase with speed) - The roof box shape itself - How the roof box is loaded (empty it may become a 'soundbox' with vibrations due to air flow around the box) - The distance between both roof racks (the closer they are, the more the front part of the roof box is cantilevered and can thus oscillate / bounce upon air flow) - The distance between the front rack and the top of windshield (to minimize the sound it's better to set the front rack in a "quite" air flow zone...), but this must be "balanced" with previous bullet point... All a question of compromises...
  17. @Stenopus Even better: Full set of workshop manuals for free: https://cardiagn.com/2015-2018-skoda-superb-iii-3v-worshop-manual-owners-manual-wiring/ Note: You may sometimes struggle with downloading the documents. 2 possible solutions, then: - Retry with another web browser - Retry another day. The website is sometimes a little 'capricious'.... Enjoy!
  18. @amateurdad I've found my "How to guide" here: As written there, I've changed the Haldex oil @ 45000 km. (roughly 30000 miles). It's the interval I've chosen, that fits my use, since the 3-year VAG recommended interval corresponds to nothing IMHO. I hope the pics of the old oil conditions and the strainer will help you to get an opinion. Also have a look to both videos in the guide...
  19. @amateurdad Your link (after a very quick glance) looks OK. To be sure, just have a look to this online ETKA: ifinterface.com Just use this path: Welcome > Free services > CarProg2 Then use drop down menus to select what correspond to your car (brand / Europ / Model / MY). Then select the main menu ( should be in module 5: Transmission) and then sub menus on the right to find out... Just check this kit complies with all OEM references. Have fun!
  20. 4 times on the same car !?! Wow! Aren't you a kind of 'black cat' ?
  21. I didn't put anything on mine. Still OK to remove. Better than vaseline, I would recommend graphite powder. Since this is a dry lubricant, it will prevent dust and dirt from sticking to the vaseline...
  22. Something like that ? But be careful, the cabin filter is in the wrong direction in this video. The arrow shall point from top to bottom.
  23. May be a good way to understand Michelin PS4 vs. PS4s differences:
