  1. Mine makes a rattle noise at low speeds too. . Only when engine running. No idea what it is yet. If you find keep me updated. Thought it was the flap on the air intake. But been unable to replicate when it's not moving
  2. Possible that it won't auto update from versions that old. Maybe OTAs only work from 1906? You might need to do manually. Think others have gone to 1941 from 1800 fw versions without issue
  3. Only thing I can find To successfully receive an Over-the-Air (OTA) update for a Škoda vehicle, the following requirements must be met: Online vehicle: The SOS module light in the overhead console must be green, indicating that the vehicle is online and can communicate with Škoda servers Active primary user: A primary user must be assigned to the vehicle Cellular network coverage: The vehicle must have cellular network coverage Battery charged: The battery must be charged to at least 50% Online Mode enabled: Online Mode must be enabled in the privacy settings When an OTA update is available, the vehicle's infotainment screen will notify the user. The installation can be started from the goodbye screen after turning off the vehicle.
  4. UK here. I've had both 1969 OTA back in December (not sure why as I was already on 1969 that I upgraded myself. Must of been a module that was lower version than OTA) And had 1985 just after the new year
  5. Latest version should be 1985
  6. Hang on. I forgot I ordered mine 2 years earlier and it took forever to come. Possible the price was over 40k by 2023
  7. lux car tax is at 40k.my iV SEL 23 plate with sunroof P11D value is under 40k. All depends on the options that were added. Think it would of only been the VRS over 40k as standard
  8. I'm a cheapskate. Don't want to have to buy one if I can keep the one I have already. It would just be for emergency. Never used the one sitting in the back of my car. only ever done type 3 cable
  9. you been using any harsh wheel cleaning material or taking it to third party car wash places? Some of those hand wash places put some serious chemicals on wheels to clean. I've heard it can damage the lacquer causing the white worm. plus stone chips etc can too. Give it a go on getting it Warrantied. But think with the age they will most likely push back as general wear and tear.
  10. Hey All, I got both a type 2 and Type 3 charge cable with my car on delivery Octavia iV SEL Estate. Can no longer see if it was standard equipment as you can't order one anymore. Basically my car will be going back in a few months and my new doesn't come with the 3 pin plug one. wanted to keep existing cable just in case I need it. But if its standard equipment I might stuggle to get away with it The Superb does not have and to buy as extra is £200+ Thanks
  11. What Software version you on. I believe it was buggy in the earlier ones after they removed manual option. If on 1941 or later it should be working.
  12. Err doesn't this happen with every car? I've always experienced better performance after a service. Oil changes will make engine smoother, air filter replacement lets car get the air it requires. Over time as things get dirty the engine management will compensate for dirty/worn parts. Putting new stuff in it will go back more to factory spec. I.e. your fuel/air mixture will get affected with a dirty air filter so car will compensate by adjusting settings. New filter will reset to the more optimized levels
  13. I've upgraded my PHEV to 1985 and it's continued to work as expected. Can manually switch between all elec or hybrid and set battery recuperation level
  14. I had the mode screen disappear completely after upgrading to version 1941. Had to do factory reset for it to appear again. Have you tried a reset?
  15. I believe it was moved to automatic in later software versions. So if dealership upgraded software it's prob gone to version where it should use GPS? To identify where you are and adjust
  16. Well my car has offered the OTA to 1985 today. Downloading it as I type. Fingers crossed mine does not break. Would be nice if 1985 would store the female voice selection for Laura 😅 But prob little to late. I've ordered a VW ID.7 tourer to replace it. Ever since I had to get a fuel injector replaced under warranty the car has not worked right since. But dealer says nothing broken so F off
  17. The IV hybrid has got an aux heater in for warming car when starting on battery or preheating from phone
  18. You using AA as wireless or plugged in via USB? Do you get same issue if cabled?
  19. I've had issues after updates of the software and a factory reset fixes it. Some reason my car does not like being updated without resetting everything after. Think I have same hardware versions etc as yours. You will need both keys to become primary user again as part of the reset
  20. Have you tried a factory reset of the media centre?
  21. Try doing factory reset and setup again. Sometimes the update can mess with the existing config
  22. Anyone in UK had the OTA upgrade to 1985 yet?
  23. Exactly like the VW I drove. They seem to of moved away from having 2 dials on display. Can you still see the Nav Map on there too?
  24. I had a hire VW not that long ago with minimal dash items. You could only change by buying more via store. Maybe they are charging for different displays in FL model now
  25. Hi all, Now got an issue with my windscreen jets not working. Sounds like the pump is making noise, headlight washers are ok, rear window is working fine and wipers are working so don't think it's the fuse. Not worked right since they replaced a fuel injector a few weeks ago and finally stopped completely today. Anyone know if they have to take off front of car to replace an injector on the 1.4 IV model? When they did the injector the filter on the water bottle spout went missing and I don't want them to blame me as contaminating the bottle. Basically want to know if they would of had to mess with the water reservoir to replace the injector?
