Been out in the car today in 22c heat. Car decided to dial recovery after sitting in the heat for a bit, when I tried starting it. Don't think that is a software issue. But god knows what they have done with sound in 1969. The bass is none existent. I thought it was almost ok in 1961. With it set at +3. But 1969 got it all way up at +9 and it's nowhere near what it was. Radio and media sound bad. Having to use android auto with Poweramp equaliser set for high bass to get it to sound normal

I did it. Haven't noticed any difference in speed on mine. If anything it's slower to boot and load android auto than 1941. Also had the mode button stop working once and it still regularly crashes on cold start making weird noise from speakers

I've not noticed anything on the standard Columbus version

I'm finding 1969 a bit slower than 1941 too. Takes its time too start up from initial start

Not got much further to be honest. Think best option is to get a match 4.3 and adaptor cable. From my understanding I can then run a sub via the match amp without having to wire a separate 12v? Unfortunately the match systems are not cheap. So looking at £500 for the match DSP + 100-200 for under seat sub. Not sure if it can power 2 of them without extra 12v power Still deciding if it's worth the cost. Currently using Poweramp via my android phone. Which allows a better EQ

Not had a repeat of the issue yet. Hopefully the battery swap has resolved it 100%

First proper bug from 1969 today on my drive. Mode button stopped working. On pressing it didn't do anything. Couldnt change to hybrid or change charge % from auto. Even the red screen when pulling gear to sport stopped working. But it fixed itself while I was getting a coffee from the garage

Found first thing in 1969 they still haven't fixed which annoys me. Laura's voice still undergoes a sex change randomly and defaults to male. God knows why male is the default for something with voice control called Laura. Never met a man called Laura, if it was Sue it could be understandable

I've done factory reset about 7 times now to get my voice control working again. Primary user setup is nice and easy from 1961 as long as you have both keys Not noticed long time stats sorry. I thought they still reset after 99hours of driving like it did in mk3

Same here. Plus I'm the only one that drives mine. Seat never moves. But I do always wear a hole in the carpet mat in one place from my heel 😆

I've upgraded to 1969 today and used FAT32 SD card? With usb adaptor. Took about 20mins in total. Got a bit worried on CPU upgrade as bar didn't move for ages. For my car on H61/1961 it only updated 4 modules. Other two showed 'D' in pre status. Guessing that meant I was already on that version. Honestly for me, not noticed any difference yet. Feels like it takes same time to boot up. Was a bit slow right away, but I had plugged my usb stick in and it was probably indexing my music again

I've got my new phone today and found it's to big to sit flat on the charge pad. Now need to find something about 2cm thick that I can put under the pad, to raise it up. Other than the above it was able to add a couple of % charge on an hour's drive, while using android auto maps and streaming music which is fine for me as new phone has a 10,000mah battery.

Chances are it worked fine after they jump start it and won't be able to find an issue. They exchanged my battery as being flat was the only error they could find

Hi all, I've got a company car octavia iv and the stereo system is a bit weak on base. Rest sounds OK. Want to improve the sound quality a bit by maybe fitting a sub under front seats, but I can't physically modify the car as its not mine. Is there a way of some sort of plug and play from existing stereo for power and speaker outputs I can run from glove box under seats with minimal changes? Basically as its lease company car I can't mess around with electrics by fitting a live power through bulkhead etc causing damage to car. But if I can buy an adaptor to plug into stereo behind glove box that can provide power and speaker signal and poke it somewhere to under the seat for a sub it would be good Thanks

If your lucky the 12 volt will go flat overnight and after getting it jump started it will work fine again

🤣 surprise surprise. There is some sort of software bug that is causing the charge process to get stuck. Eventually they will get enough repeated issues they will have to admit there is a problem. My local dealer said mine was the second in the week when I took it in and they would be reporting it back to skoda.

Mainly because I'm old and don't see why I should have to pay for spotify premium to play music I've already purchased via another source. If it was a couple of £ a month I would pay for spotify but not £10.99 when I only really listen in the car. If I played music all the time it would be more worth it. Had trials in the past and I just ended up setting up a couple of playlists and listening to the same songs over and over. I don't need the Taylor swift or Ed sheeran new song suggestions Last time I listened to music on my phone was over 3 months ago when I had to catch a train

Don't know much about how it works but guessing it might be that. I've had it when I've been quite happily driving on battery with loads of charge left. Pop into a shop and engine just starts for no reason once I start again

Might of been cleaning the gpf and needed to run engine for a while
