I've got a graphite grey one and it doesn't show the dirt as much as a silver. Which is good as I hardly wash it in the winter 😅

Hey all, Had a fun morning. Drove to drop other half off somewhere today. Stopped the car and turned off for couple of mins. Got back in pressed the button and just about every warning popped up on dash. Park not working, press brake to stop car rolling Esp off Auto handbrake off Start system failed etc Typically all of this happened in an area where me and the car had no mobile signal at all. After trying to start multiple times with no luck I got out to see if I could get mobile signal. After a few mins with no luck I got back in car ready to press the SOS button as cust service i is only open Mon to Friday. Pressed start again and it all worked fine. No error or anything. Anyone experienced this before and did you take it to skoda for repair? I swear my car has so many software gremlins either that or they have built it so it doesn't start without a mobile signal

Had to do a full factory reset to get it working again. Deleting of user profile didn't work. After full reset and setting up primary user again I can now hear Laura telling me he/she "doesn't Understand" , "please wait a moment" and "checking online" everytime again. So things back to normal 🤣

Hi all, In last day or so Laura has completely broken on my infosystem. Won't speak at all and doesn't respond to anything. Even the language menu in settings seems to be greyed out. I've tried holding down the power button with no luck. Just restarts and doesn't kick her to life. Any other way? Thinking maybe a full reset to factory settings and relink myskoda app etc with the keys

As per my other post. I'm getting a lot of issues with infosystem forgetting saved configuration etc in last few weeks. I had 1941 installed and got couple of weeks of niceness and then it went downhill. All started playing up after an ota back in August

Male/female voice selection is in the language menu in settings. Don't think you can turn off Right at bottom of list

Yep just need to know if I should be expecting one? No idea if what I have is normal for the IV model

There's an aux heater in car that runs off battery. Don't think is same standard as a heat pump on the full evs. You can use it to warm car up via app before you get into it

Hi all, Am I missing the engine cover? Due an oil change soon and want to know if I need to ask for one when it goes in

Hi all, Is it just me or are loads of people having the voice reset overnight to male? Last couple of weeks it's happening 2-3 times in a week. Plus my media will start from first track alphabetically. No idea if it's my info system crashing or related to skoda online and them doing something that is wiping out my settings? I'm on software 1941 and in UK. Just want to know if its just me and I can raise on next oil change or If its happening to loads and it's software/skoda issue

I thought the 7speed were dry and 6 speed wet

Yep defo something wrong. Mine goes into redline easy. P.s. my iv has the 6 speed dsg in so might work different. My old mk3 with DQ200 went well over 2000revs when you put foot down

I like mine. Gives the dogs something to chase in back of car

I've had issues since the OTA last week too. Basically experienced the following. Worked fine on 1941 till update. 1. Started car yesterday and had a very long list of things unavailable. Basically every assist system. Drove down road and they worked after couple of mins 2. Any remembering of my media data seems to of stopped working. Keeps restarting from first track on USB again 3. Completely forgotten my selection of voice sound for Laura. 4. MySkoda app this morning completely reset and needed me to login again and setup 5. Did a weird thing with cruse control on way home around passing cars on left. Like it had defaulted to right hand drive. Didn't happen again after I refreshed user in car. It just seems like car can't function at all without having an online connection and my skoda just does not remember setups God knows why they can't build the damn system to remember last setup. I live in area with poor mobile data and can't aways have a signal

Thanks Found the issue. MiB3 system will not work with my existing folder structure that worked fine on my Mk3 Octavia. Having to change my usb folders from \\Albums\artist - album name\*.MP3 To \\Albums\Artist Name\Album Name\*.MP3 Guessing I'll need a new structure for my audiobooks, Comedy MP3s and a big folder full of 2k+ tracks. Going to have to play with how to setup those. Unless anyone has a guide to MiB3 media usb setup and what system expects?

Im in UK in Midlands. Maybe it's to do with age of car? Mine was built in May-Jun 2023. Sounds like Stevetheelder Has had his for a while? Southern is yours a newish build? Maybe they have changed something with the system which stops functionality working

Yep same issue I'm having. Phoned the info line from car and they hadn't a clue. Said I need to take to dealer for investigation. Might do as I'm on fw 1941 now and still getting the reboots

Definitely my car with issue then. Doesn't matter what I say it says "media selection is unavailable. Please try again later" and will not play anything from my USB stick. Wonder if it's an issue with upgrade 1941. What version is yours

I've got multiple albums and tracks from artists. Would like to be able to pay them by album instead of artist where it puts same tracks together in abc order

Hi all, After weaving all over the road trying to access my media on USB stick from the info screen I'm definitely feeling its a but unsafe. I've tried using the wheel controls and voice and I'm having no luck at all. Is it just my car that has these issues or everyone's? I'm on software 1941 now. 1. Accessing album folders via wheel controls on dash screen. Can scroll though album folders and go up down directories. But when I select first song in folder it fails to play. 2. Voice control. On my old mk3 I could say select album and say name of album and it would play it. On mk4 when I say select album it say "unavailable at this time. Try again later"? When saying select song it does not seem to understand at all and starts waffling on about navigation Can anyone got voice commands to work for music connected via USB stick? Thanks Nova

Well 1 week after i got my local dealership to update my car to 1941. Worked for a week and had 2 crashes today. 1 when I had no mobile signal and it was trying to connect to my skoda to get my settings (god knows why they won't let car store without requiring connection) And 2nd starting car to move it on drive
