I've had the official Skoda bars on my hatch, rented from and fitted by the Main Dealer (along with the roofbox) and they didn't use those holes. I had assumed that's what they were for but the clamps on the Skoda roof bars were flat.

That chart is a bit confusing, surely it should be symmetrical, is there an axis label missing ? Is the columns representing what you already have in the car and the rows what you are topping up with ? If I start at G11 on the top (column with "BLUE GREEN" and go down, it appears as if G11 is Always Miscable with G13 But if I start on the G11 row and go across to the G13 column it is Miscable, yet loss of corrosion protection.

Have you tried resetting the flaps ? If you press SETUP on the AC dial it will show you a graphic of where the air is coming out of, maybe it's meant to have some air coming from the other vents.

Yeah, must be estate only, having replaced both my hatch boot lights with LED versions, they definitely don't double up as a torch

No offense but have to ask as I don't see it in your original list are you sure the A/C is turned on? ( I ask from personal experience ) With the A/C off and the fans on you can still up and down the temperature on the little display with the dial, Air Conditioning will still be listed in the convenience consumers but the bar always stays at zero, and pressing Setup will still show you where the air is coming out. When I first picked up my car it was a hot day and I had the temp on Low and the fans on max and it was still warm, was about to go back to the dealer when I started pressing buttons and realised the little light below A/C in the right most dial has to be on

I seem to fall foul of the "Do not disengage clutch above 1300 rpm" eco tip. I regularly take an exit off a motorway (120 km/h speed limit) that is uphill to a roundabout so usually press the clutch and use the uphill and light braking to slow the car down as I inevitable have to stop at the roundabout. Looks like I should be going down through the gears to use the engine to slow the car, but I inevitably have to stop and get into first gear at the roundabout while I wait for a gap in the traffic.

Android Auto isn't installed on the car's unit, it's installed on your phone and the phone screen is mirrored to the car's display, usually connected using a USB cable. It's the ability to mirror your phone screen to the car display that is included in the new unit. You can install Android Auto on your phone and use it without connecting to your car, just put your phone in a holder if you like, it's all on your phone. Any updates will be made to the version installed on your phone.

Sounds just like mine when the water pump was sticking, needs replacing. I was overtaking a truck on a dual carriageway when mine went into the red then back to normal again after pulling in. Have a read here:

I ordered a replacement bottle from my local Skoda dealer and asked the Parts Guy to check that it didn't have the Bag in it, he asked me if I was worried about it splitting and blocking the system, he knew all about it but he said that the Skoda Mechanics had 3 different theories about how it happens and none of them could agree. Theory 1 is the Silica Bag Splitting, Theory 2 is that it is sand left over in the system from the casting process and Theory 3 is that if the engine overheats the coolant boils and it goes gloopy and blocks up the system. He also said that Skoda would never admit to any of these. But for under 40euro for a replacement tank I'll be replacing mine soon (once shops reopen and I can get a turkey baster ) to eliminate Theory 1 from the equation.

Some people have retrofitted them (I haven't) , have a look at the guide linked in the post below, credit to fabdavrav.

Just to add to #3 above: What would i need to purchase for me to be able to enable some features? - Either a copy of the VCDS Software for your laptop and the necessary cables to plug your laptop into the Car OR - a wireless dongle and the obdeleven app for your phone from https://obdeleven.com/en/ Both will allow you to scan your car for errors and clear them and also enable some features.

Same here, I can see the indicator flash in the little window beside the mirror. You can use OBDeleven as much as you like at will, credits are only for the one-click changes that are listed in the App. For example to enable the Lap Timer requires 10 credits, but have a look at the sticky on top of this forum there are instructions on how to enable this yourself. Best to avoid the one-click changes as you don't know what it is changing in the background, best to make the changes yourself so you can change them back to the way they were beforehand if you have any issues. You get a certain amount of credits at the start and get more each day you open the app, personally i'd avoid the one-click Apps and do the long coding yourself.

This is the one you want to have, single or double walled doesn't matter if it doesn't say "Mit Silikat" then it doesn't have the silica bag. There are single and double walled versions with Mit Silikat written on them and these aren't necessarily bad, just that the silica bag could potentially burst and empty the crystals into the cooling system leading to an expensive system flush and more than likely a blocked heater matrix.

Have a look under the bonnet, if it says "Mit Silikat" then it has the Silicate Bag, my 2015 TDI and the missus 2019 Petrol both have it.

You might, like me, have the double walled version with the silica located between the two walls of the tank. I bought some coolant to top up from a local car parts shop that has a garage attached and the mechanic told me to get rid of the old tank and order a new one without the bag, told me to ring up the local VW garage as they always keep loads of them in stock so I'll be looking to replace mine soon enough. Some good tips on the previous pages from people who have fished out the bag (if you have the single walled version)

Just checked mine and it's the same . Never noticed it before this. Looking at my belting up routine it seems to be when I put the seatbelt on, I have a habit of pulling the seatbelt forward towards the windscreen first to give slack to go around me, this seems to be when the belt goes into the cut groove. I've always had the holder up to the highest setting as I'm over 6 foot but can't tell if it's all my doing or the previous owner started it

That's so strange, I was just watching the installation video for this on Youtube a couple of weeks ago What put me off was the image of the car on it, if it could be changed to a Skoda that would be a plus (but that's a minor issue), and some of the reviews were negative. The screen touch response seemed a bit slow on the installation video but looks much better in your video . Following this thread with interest to see how it goes over time.

Have you checked on the infotainment Car-> Settings -> Doors -> Lock/Unlock options
