  3. Part numbers? Probably will fit.
  4. Water somewhere, like the ECU plenum?

  6. That's a failed intake manifold flap 03L 128 063 E
  7. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/18447/P2015/008213
  8. if you're committed to metal ones, apply some dielectric grease on the threads before install
  9. You dont have to readapt anything, just clean it. You can readapt if you have VCDS, but not necessary.
  10. Ranex or any rust converter will losen them, but i'd try some basic WD40, or other penetration oil. Let it soak a bit.

  13. I have more if anyone needs Octavia MK3_Maintenance_Part1.pdf Octavia MK3_Maintenance_Part2.pdf
  14. Make sure you sort it out buddy, as an ex military person, PTSD is a bitch, let me tell you. Professional help is not a sign of weakness https://www.thestandrewspractice.com/crisis-contacts/
  15. Swirl flap and injector went after a carbon clean... I'd be asking some tough questions on the garage to be honest.
  16. Id be looking at the fuel pumps and fuel filters at this point. Whats the in tank pump duty look like on vcds.
  17. 74K posts of nonsense.
  18. What are you on about? You still haven't provided ANY requirement for the issue you're claiming. All of the citations you've provided EXCLUDED Europe and that's where the OP is. My advice is based on 30 years working on VAG vehicles, a professional aircraft mechanic and direct experience with the vehicle in question. Please provide the recalls for Australia. Exact numbers please. Otherwise it is just nonsense. Also, the oil I replace the mechatronic oil with, the root cause of you coniptions, is mineral based, as per the part number updated. So your worries are really strange. Provide some citations beyond forum posts please.
  19. Doesnt affect Octavia... try again https://www.vehiclerecalls.gov.au/recalls/rec-003548 Again, there are multiple OAM gearboxes. Not all the same.
  20. Wow, so convincing, DQ200 google search.> Whats the recall number? Simple question. Plus the first post of the link you provided agrees with my point.
  21. Mate, provide the recall number, plus "dont touch it" is still terrible advice. All opinion. My 60K km mechatronics oil change is both cheap, good insurance and easy. If you want to disagree do it. But don't be so arrogant about saying its wrong when you provide poor citations and no evidence that it is detrimental. Also, do you own this vehicle? Had any long term experience?
  22. Groan all you want Rooted, please provide the recall number. That reference website you provided as a screenshot is WOEFUL! There are multiple OAM boxes.
  23. Disagree, the oil comes out dark and dirty - 15 minutes of 1.7L oil, good insurance. Mine has 185K km, not a single issue. Your opinion is that it's lifetime fluid. Like all 'lifetime' fluids, thats not good advice. The recall is valid but not for everywhere and totally depends on where you live https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/vw-uk-why-we-dont-need-dsg-recall Despite your website link, there have been no recalls for this in my country, nor have I had a single issue.
  24. 180K km, no issues. Regular oil changes = long life.
