Best must have accessoaries for Octavia
PPF = Paint Protection Film (thin foil, like a wrap). The only protection that helps quite a bit against stone chips.

Best must have accessoaries for Octavia
A protective foil for main infotainment screen. Mud flaps for the winter. PPF for the front. A bit more expensive option. A mini USB key for MP3s.

Service costs
Oil change was done at the dealer. They are using Shell Helix Ultra Professional AV 0-20.

Reverse camera: night vision
I'll try with lights off next time. But for me it's just fine how it is. I find the camera brightness good enough for maneuvering. Will also check wide option. The middle icon is trailer assist mode.

Service costs
I did an early oil change at 2000 km and it was 26.5 eur per liter. The TSI took 5.9 liters of oil.

Delivery times?
Am I reading this right? I was sure you will be ordering the Sportline

Reverse camera: night vision
Just came back from a short trip in the dark and rain and this is how it looks on my camera. It's even a bit better in real life.

Reverse camera: night vision
Strange. I have never noticed such issues. I admit, it could be better picture but mine is far from completely black.

RS (iV) with tow bar, rear bumber?
Sorry @timster I just noticed you are asking for the iV. I don't have the iV but I would guess the bumper isn't any different.

RS (iV) with tow bar, rear bumber?
Correct. I have it from factory. From behind you can't see any difference. You need to look under the bumper to see the cut out for the tow bar.

This looks correct.

Jack Lifting Points
Actually I don't remember since the picture is from last winter. And I went from a 18 year old Honda to this one so everything is much quieter. In general I would say all winter tiers are a bit louder than summer tires.

Octavia iV vrs PHEV vs sportline PHEV (non-UK)
Could be VRS has some different mechanical parts as the Sportline? Suspension, strut bars, etc...

Octavia iV vrs PHEV vs sportline PHEV (non-UK)
What about the other interior parts?

Turbo Outlet
Changing the turbo outlet alone will not give you any noticeable power gain. But it will give you a bit more turbo sound and whistle. You might gain a bit of power if you change a couple of parts which will help the car breath better. For example if you change air intake, turbo outlet and exhaust. This will be even more noticeable when doing a remap on the car. Check the Racingline website. They have few more parts available. https://www.racingline.com/octavia-nx-categories

Octavia suspension issues
Could be your car still has transportation blocks installed. A few owners reported this problem in the past. This can happen when car isn't properly prepared before handover. You can check your suspension by yourself. If this is true, you will see some sort of plastic blocks inside the springs.

Octavia iV vrs PHEV vs sportline PHEV (non-UK)
You really compared the least obvious angle of the car. Everything I said above is only my opinion. For me VRS from front and rear looks more sporty than Sportline. And there are still interior differences.

Reverse camera: night vision
Hi, it's not the best visibility at night, but I'm sure it's not pitch black. Did you try to play with camera settings? You can change light, contrast, etc...

No Cruise Control after software upgrade
Sorry, I was reading to fast and missed that you have a regular cruise control. Sneal has already described where the main switch is located. Maybe this screen shot from the manual helps in any way.

No Cruise Control after software upgrade
Do you have a separate stalk for cruise control under the indicator stalk? If yes, then you need to pull it firmly towards yourself. This engages cruise control.

Octavia iV vrs PHEV vs sportline PHEV (non-UK)
I agree, differences on the outside are not big. But they are still there. Especially if you like more sporty look. In the end I guess you are not buying a sport car. Otherwise you would by a 2.0 TSI engine. So I would say it's down to your personal preference which one you like more. I personally like the VRS look more over the Sportline. And for 3k difference, I would definitely go with the VRS over the Sportline. For that you get a top end trim (even if the list on paper is the same), extra power and a little more sportiness on the inside and outside (and maybe some other mechanical differences that we are not aware of??).

VRS passenger seat adjustment query
No, the base can't be separately adjusted.
