If data in the app are not updating, then the issue is most likely in the car and with it's connection to the Skoda servers. Try removing fuses 19 and 30 for 10 minutes. This can help reset the connection. For me the app actually works quite good. I can: - see all my driving data - check the location of the car - check the status of lights, doors and windows - open/lock the car remotely - honk remotely - see the service history - generate a certificate with all the vehicle data and history - etc.

Hmmm also sedans have a washer option. Instead of using a wiper stalk to wash the camera, sedan has an option in the camera menu to initiate the wash. https://youtu.be/YZ1dUQlu81M

Hi @ParaNO1501d Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately there is no list or something similar where you could check what is the latest SW available for your car. The only ones who can check if any new update is available for your car is your dealer. They can check if the factory has released any new SW for your VIN. This is because majority of our cars are unique, equipped with different HW components, etc. And if my car for example has SW 1804, it doesn't automatically means the same SW is also available for your car. What I can tell you is that some of the newly delivered cars already have SW version 1889 (according to German forum).

I got the message today. After 13 months and 20k km. After battery replacement I tried to unlock and lock the car with the key, I tried kessy and I checked that my name is displayed on the welcome screen. Didn't try to start the car though.

Why not using the long-term one as a trip function? You reset it when you start your road trip and after a week when you are back home, you check your data and reset it again. I don't see any other function for the long-term data since they are automatically reset after 99h and 59s or after reaching 9999 km/miles. So it makes it a perfect function to use it as your trip function.

There is no venting on the new Octavia. At least not in the same way as on older cars. As far as I know the tank vents itself when you pouring the petrol in.

I doubt it's 55 liters. The most I have put in mine was 46 liters with like 20 miles range left (you have still some miles left even the range says 0) . So the capacity of the tank is around 50 liters.

So it looks like it's 50 liters. The same as VRS. I guess for the less powerful engines is 45 liters.

I'm sure they know what are they saying. The only way to check something is available for your car is through the Skoda system software they are using. They enter your VIN and it shows everything that is available for your car from the factory. If some other car got a new update, it doesn't mean that the same update is also available for yours since your car might have different configuration, different modules, computer, etc.

I just checked Slovenian configurator and it looks like it's true. There is no option to select a tow bar with a Sportline. But it's available with the RS. Mind-blowing. 😵

😲 Really can't understand this. Why there can't be a tow bar installed on a Sportline version, but it's possible to have it on a VRS?

I would ask the garage to check the suspension at next oil change. I have DCC and in comfort mode you barley feel the road.

I managed to download with MS Edge since manuals don't want to open in Chrome even though I have disabled addblocker. Click on desired manual and wait for it to open. Click on print icon. Wait till the document is ready for printing and the print dialog shows up. Chose Save as PDF and click Save on the bottom of the print dialog.

This is true. I would love they would make the RS a little bit sportier. Such as adding these two buttons to the steering wheel, option to have a single rev tacho, 4x4, louder exhaust, etc. Something similar to what Cupra and Golf Rs have. 🥰
