  1. I think because of the OPF this is all the sound we will get when changing just the back silencers.
  2. FOX https://www.fox-sportauspuff.de/store-products.php?pName=skoda-octavia-nx-rs-final-silencer-rightleft-outlet-in-the-original-tail-pipes-p-25676&language=en&cName=car%2Fskoda%2Foctavia%2Fnx-c-1_429_433_3577 At Remus they said they plan to have a catback exhaust ready in June/July. At Milltek they just said they will for sure have some products available for the new Octavia but they didn't give me any timelines.
  3. Yes. I understand. I have a friend who is waiting for his new Octavia and it might be helpful if he can check for the delivery updates for himself.
  4. You are most welcome.
  5. Can you tell me how to do that?
  6. @SkodaCB thanks. I think I will be able to live with the fact I can't drive with an open window. At least until air conditioning will work as it should.
  7. Hi As far as I know they are not the same. A colleague tried to fit the one from mk3 and it was a bit more bent (curved) than the one for mk4.
  8. No problem at all. Then it looks like I was just lucky with my previous car that I was able to drive with the window open. Otherwise I would be cooked from the inside out in the summer heat.
  9. Could be. Just that my previous car 2003 Honda Accord didn't do that. I was able to drive with a driver window open at quite high speeds. I was driving with not working air conditioning for two years.
  10. Thanks. Didn't know I can do that.
  11. I'm afraid to check my Skoda app.
  12. I think it is two clicks to access the list of last calls. One click with the right scroll wheel and one with the bottom right button.
  13. Did anyone notice how loud it gets in the car when driving with an open window? Having driver window open for 1/3 and at speed around 50-60 km/h it's already impossible to drive. It gets too loud inside the car.
  14. This is my first car with a digital cockpit and in general I really like it. What I really miss is an easier way to cancel a call with the button on the steering wheel and a bigger display of a selected gear. At least in VRS layout. The gear selector display in the bottom left corner is really hard to see.
  15. BACUPIAN is talking about the mk3 and not the mk4 Octavia. MAX defrost button directs the vents to the front windscreen and turns the fan to the max. But what it could be is that MAX defrost also switches on the heated windscreen if the car is equipped with it. Unfortunately this isn't stated in the manual.
  16. what do you mean with "dedicated middle top row dial"? You have a dedicated heated windscreen button? On which car?
  17. Yw. I know the feeling. I went from 2007 car with no board computer to a new Octi.
  18. You have a screen grab from the manuals above.
  19. Hi fellow Slovenian. As other have mentioned, It looks like software issues are present mostly with the early cars. My Octavia was built in the end of November and I have almost zero issues with it. Regarding the options. I didn't take the alarm. But I decided to enable it afterwards (via MTL Garage, search on Youtube). Although it's missing moving sensors and anti tow sensor. I really like the full kessy. I think if someone would really like to steal your car, they will do it regardless of the kessy or the standard locking with the key. I also have the DCC. And I'm loving it. But I have a VRS which I guess has a firmer suspension than a standard Octavia. My suggestion would be to go for a test drive and see for yourself what is the suspension like on a standard Octavia.
  20. Mine would be: 1. looks 2. power 3. good value for money
  21. According to the manual there is no physical button for the heated windscreen.
  22. Searching for updates will not return any results. When OTA update is available, system will let you know. But OTA updates are only small updates usually for navigation, T&C or similar. For "big" updates for different computer modules, you will need to go to your dealer. You can also tell them your VIN and they can check if any updates are available for your car.
  23. Congrats! The last few days are the hardest. It will be interesting to see what device part number your car will have.
