  1. I just measured the original front ones and the Bosch A102S and the lengths of the rubber blades are the same.
  2. I don't know that unfortunately.
  3. Sorry, I don't quite understand how the taxation works in the UK. But if I would need to choose between the DCC and the el. seats, I would probably choose the DCC.
  4. I bought these two for my estate Front: Bosch A102S Back: Bosch A331H
  5. I have both. And if I would be specing a new car again, would again take both. I heard from others that a none DCC car hardness is in between the DCC standard and sport setting. Which would be a bit hard on a bad roads for me. And the UK roads being notorious bad, I would says DCC is a must if you also like comfort driving.
  6. Ohh you are correct. The cable is already sleeved. I guess your best option is to add the foam to the door card. Or at least add some foam to the area of the sound and where the cable meets the metal.
  7. I have zero noise on either of the front doors. In addition to the foam on the door card, I would also strongly suggest to wrap the door handle cable into something soft. Here is the picture of my door before final installation.
  8. You need to remove the complete door card and check from behind. This part, which you are pushing, is one piece and can't be separated. Could it be that when you push it actually hits the door metal? I would start with removing the door card and check what this going on behind. Check if this part makes the same noise once the door card is separated from the door. Then I would start adding some sound deadening foam at the back of the door card.
  9. Try also with the engine running at the time when you sign in.
  10. I really don't remember if I had to set the time manually ever in the last three years. 🤔
  11. I understand. You know you can get braided lines that look like stock ones? Third one from the right.
  12. Did you also change the brake lines for the braided ones?
  13. He is talking about the engine shutting down completely since this is how the eTSI engine cars were engineered to work.
  14. Just to be clear. Coasting is a state of the DSG transmission and not the motor. You are talking about the motor shutting down, right?
  15. This is far from a scam. As others have mentioned, you need to do a detailed research before buying and specing a new car. I think all the information about what is available and what is not is written when specifying the car. If you bought a car from a stock, then I guess it's dealers fault if specification of the car was not clearly visible or presented. And I personally never had any issues with buying in the Skoda store.
  16. Actually the torque for the wheel bolts is 140 Nm.
  17. Find the intruder. 😁
  18. Hmmm mine was done in 1h 45. So I really doubt that in this time they managed also to replace the module. Since each update takes about 45 min. But yes, it needs to be done in two stages. Since versions before 1896 can't get any new big updates over the air.
  19. No need for a different module. Mine was just updated a few weeks ago from 1788 to 1896 and then to 1941. System is running a bit more smooth, a bit faster. No issues afterwards.
  20. Nice idea. But isn't HW for infotainment less powerful in the early models of the mk4? As far as I know they upgraded it somewhere in 2022. Could be that our HW would struggle even more with a bigger display.
  21. Sorry, would gladly help you but I didn't do that by myself.
  22. Nope, you can't define lane assist and start-stop setting for individual mode. It takes 2 s, yes...when system is not laggy. Which I have to admit, is less often whith 1941 update. But it still happens. I'm really glad I coded the lane assist to "last setting" so now is always off when I start the car.
  23. Some more info from German FB group. Dealers got a memo yesterday stating that the facelift Octavia will be available for order from 22.2. onward. No RS diesel anymore. And the new 265 KM TSI RS will be available for order sometime in the Q2.
  24. For me the rattle was caused by this clip in the first pic. I removed it from it's holder and put a piece of cloth tape beneath. When you put it back you will notice it goes in a bit tighter and this stopped the rattle.
