  1. Thanks for the hint. I used this one which matches with the car specified type with registration number. https://www.halfords.com/motoring/bulbs/ring-pro-382-p21w-car-bulb-twin-pack-439982.html
  2. Thanks for your comment @J.R. very helpful. The thing you pointed about short circuit blowing fuse is completely valid. Fortunately, I don't have any other electrical issue at the moment (which I am aware of at least) except this ridiculous boot warning. I am very suspicious this has happened due to the previous owner using a lot of LED bulbs in the car. The reverse bulbs were still there when I bought it, there is a spare front LED bulb in the boot and also I am sure he has used LED bulbs for boots as well (but he replaced them back to normal lights). So, if I know what has gone wrong with the process of using LED bulbs, it is very likely to solve the issue.
  3. Hahaha, modern cars log everything you do with them, is good in total, but cause a lot of stress as well.
  4. Will try to clear the errors and see how it goes.
  5. Not that I have been aware of, why?
  6. The point that I cannot understand from the above is why different type of errors are flagged! For example, why does it say wheel loose detection and also hight speed CAN bud short to bus?
  7. The one which is the most related concerning one is number 6: 0263 Raw code: 000107 ECU: 09. 8. Dont know what should I do about 16 though, It is the same display with the same serial number, but it activates that showroom error.
  9. 16 was happened due to changing the dispay, as my current display LCD is getting many dead pixels. And 17, I remember the other day I was trying to clean the volume knob and I think I turned the unit on/off a lot of time, so maybe it got confused. I saw the message CP active on the display which asked me to ignite the car and then it went away.
  10. The Open circuits have been me taking out the bulbs and replacing with another (for example for license plate). But, also they have inactive label, which to me means they do not exist anymore, no?
  11. Scanned the car with my Carista OBD2 tool and got the following errors. Most of them are archive[inactive] errors though and some of the unrelated, but not deleted them. @varaderoguy any idea if any of these error could cause the boot open warning issue when one of the interior lights is turned on?
  12. Good to know that. Might be useful if you know and mention the user id here
  13. Seems good, but it probably requires new bolts and and nuts as original ones are designed for plastic and cannot stand the metal plat weight, true?
  14. Are oil sump are seriously made from plastic? I got a bit disappointed!
  15. The following is for today. I think it was me changing the infotainment display as my previous one had some issue! How should I resolve this error? I heard from people here that changing the screen would not activate any error. ============16============== 1555 Raw code: 000613 ECU: 5F. 17. Your car has some specific features, like high beam assist, from assist, driver assist etc, which you can modify their setting in the infotainment. Because, your new infotainment comes from another car those features may vary, so you need to adapt them back to your car features.
  18. Very sorry to hear that. Hope you can get the money back from insurance! But, it is a big headache
  19. Looks very nice indeed! Good for you. You probably need to retrieve your car original equipment settings back via VCDS.
  20. Yep, I agree. And spreading the weight would not be easy. Anything you put between the jack head and the car body can move and make a disaster
  21. yep, but what I meant was your other day comment on sellers told you it would support 9.2 screens too.
  22. I was also thinking about buying a jack, and when searching I found bottle hydraulic jack which are small and (maybe) easy to use. I have not used any of this bottle jacks before though, so any thought would be good to know. A point that I noticed it the bottle jacks head is very narrow, so this can make dent in the car body, am I right or this is me being negative.
  23. I doubt this unit supports 9.2 screen, but maybe I am wrong.
  24. Do you know if using LED bulb for the reverse lights would generate any error without coding?
  25. I only have a simple OBD2 scanner (Carista). Does it do the job or I need to use a VCDS?
