I think the aerial on the roof is only for the GPS. The radio aerial is in the rear window.

@erikoctaviaThat's actually me. Not happy with the build quality tbh. It looks very cheap! And the customer service is close the worst! The light is not bad though. It is completely visible from the back and fairly visible from inside. I managed to install them today, please see the attached videos! GRD_indicator.mp4

You can replace the screen with same part number with no coding required! But as varaderogguy said if you want to upgrade to newer models you need experts's help!

I think it can easily drain the whole oil if it is badly broken!

£250 seems reasonable for changing the sump (if they really changed it!), filter and oil. However, if the sump was really broken why they have not taken the photo that? Could be as simple as a mistake but also could be them be devil!

@cheezemonkhai what do you mean by protective lubricant? what is it for? Is it a necessary thing to do?

Is it really possible to search for destination by postcode? I have a retrofitted MIB2 unit, but once I tried to look up destination by postcode, it didn't work. But, very likely I have done something dumb?

@paulskiThanks for your advice! I am going to buy a Lidl smart charger. I have an EFB type battery which is fine to charge with in the normal mode (searched it in the forum). I have a VCDS if it can help to avoid the battery to be overcharged. So, do you think the battery management won't over charge the batter if I recharge it off the car?

My parking space is not close enough to charge the battery when it is connected 😪 Is it possible to reset the battery management after it is recharged offline?

The other day I got "Low Battery" warning on maxi dot. I think reason is I don't use the car these day apart short trips for shopping. Checking the battery status on the maxi dot, shows the battery capacity 40%, therefore, I am going to charge it using a smart charger. For charging the advice is to disconnect the main cables from the battery during the charge process. However, I read somewhere to keep them connected for the battery management to be able to see the charging process and do not overcharge the battery. Which of them is true?

Maybe it is (I just judge by the photo), but the image they use seems different to me. They have the GRD on their boxes for the indicator as far as I noticed that time, and also the type of the plastic and its colour what quite similar. Although you never know until you get it 😬

Did some research on this and looked at the @SashaGrace indicator replacement (below), I noticed that there is a brand watermark on the indicator (GRD). Asked an AliExpress seller who sells this brand and they advised the JOGON model is not visible from inside (little square in the mirror).

I am also looking for a similar one @erikoctavia. Would be nice to share here if you have any luck finding the one with visible light in the indicator. I will do the same!
