  1. Surprising to learn about this, especially on such a modern car. Useless information - this also used to affect Peugeot 306s without rear arch liners where the C-pillars would essentially rot from the inside out, and kill off the rear seatbelt mountings.
  2. I can check tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll tag @Breezy_Pete as he might know. :)
  3. Well here we are... I'm finally starting to get things for this that I've been wanting for ages. First up was replacing the godawful soft touch plastic handbrake. It's not in the worst nick, but I didn't like the way it felt compared a proper leather one. Well that's better. I have a few more things coming up next. In the meantime, I gave it a damned good polish for the first time in nearly four years. Much shiny. Just looks absolutely spot on (if you ignore the rust on that door).
  4. <Unlucky Alf> Bugger! </Unlucky Alf> Also aussie spec for some reason?
  5. I think it's a Fabia Sport. Available either as a 1.2 or 1.4 with tinted glass, vRS seats (but in black cloth), 15" alloys, red seatbelts, spoiler. Was meant to "look" a bit like the vRS but without the diesel and by extension the insurance costs. It had the 1.4 when the trim was launched, then "upgraded" to the 1.2 12v. Here's a snippet from the 2005 brochure.
  6. Missed the chance for a photo (was travelling on the motorway), but that's the Fabia ticked over 98,000 miles now. I will make sure there's a photo of it hitting 100k!
  7. The boat slipway at Loch Ken, and the last one from the side of the A713.
  8. Just a couple of light snaps of my morning walk.
  9. 4 years down, both as a member and an owner of this wee car.
  10. Plot twist: the caravan's full of petrol to keep the motor constantly fuelled.
  11. It'll be a bit of a nightmare as you'll have to replace the fuel lines and tank also. I'd say wait for your insurance to come down a bit and that at first, then look into something petrol powered from the range perhaps.
  12. I did the same thing when I started out. Ended up settling with a pseudo-Sport/Elegance sort of combination, with the worst possible engine...
  13. They're quite good when you think about it. I've owned/driven a fair few rattly old heaps (including a Daewoo Nexia), and they're quite refined in comparison. The Daewoo was pretty old hat though.
  14. That dark green is a nice colour on these. My mate (who I don't think is on here anymore) has a dark green estate in a similar shade. This was from a few years back when heading down to a show.
  15. Mine makes the same noise for everything. I've had it nearly four years and there's still a momentary "oh ****" when I hear the noise, to find it's just a little chilly outside.
  16. Clean MOT sheet for this one. Not bad considering it's been abused. Staring down the barrel of 100,000 miles now, and in the best shape I think it has been in for a long time.
  17. Welcome from a fellow Scot, and a fellow 1.2 HTP owner. I've done quite a bit with my one. Many happy miles and safe travels.
  18. 1.2 HTPs come on 239s, or at least my 2006 model does.
  19. She's still going, hai! Edging ever so close to 97k, and hoping to have it well over 100k by summer. Quality. Got her back from paint a couple of weeks ago, looking miles better now. A good wash is in order ASAP.
  20. I had meant to go and see about one for sale! It's now being raffled off on Facebook.
