How To: Centre Console Cup Holder
Canny justify nearly 100 euros for what it is really. There's threads about using Lupo ones or generic ones which is honestly the best solution, but the guide is there for anyone with the same one as mine.

How To: Centre Console Cup Holder
Fabia Mk1 Centre Console Cupholder Fitting Guide Much like my other guide(s), this will “talk” you through fitting one of these elusive cupholder doodads… if you can get your hands on one, mind you. This is good modification instead of having to resort to cheaper, rattlier, vent clipping alternatives. Trust me, I know. Massive thank you to @KeithCheetham for supplying this item all for gratis. This guide works for both Pre-FL and Post-FL Fabia Mk1 models of all body types since they all share the same dashboard. DISCLAIMER, as always: I’m not responsible if you eff this up or take your fingers off (somehow). Do this at your own risk. Take proper care working with tools, or else the only tool will be yourself. Step One – Acquiring Parts and Tools: AHAHAHAHAHAHA… good luck. Alright, the process of finding the cupholder is tedious, so just wait until one pops up. The part number is 6Y0862531H47H. So erm, see above. Tools required – Torx driver with T15 fitting (or T20, whichever fits). Get some trim removal tools too, or a screwdriver with tape around the head to prevent damage. Step Two – Check Parts and Fitting: Check the parts work. Cannot explain that any simpler than that. This is what you should have: If you don't have this, then you have the wrong one. Begin removing this trim panel... Then this blank button (or heated seat module if you’re posh) … Remove screws with Torx driver. Remove the heater control panel which comes off with a little persuasion… Remove the remaining panel… Insert cupholder and refit screws… And the blank button… Refit your heater panel… Step Three – Admire Yer Handiwork: Good lad (or lady lad), you’ve gotten this far hopefully without spontaneously combusting or dying. Now take a step back (or move the seat back a notch) and admire your efforts. Finally, put the tools away, go back in the house, get a cuppa, and fire your feet up for a job well done. Job’s a good ‘un.

Fabia 1.4 Tdi - Is It Any Good??
When you've got 64 horses to play with then you can make a milk float look quick, to be fair.

Fabia 1.4 Tdi - Is It Any Good??
I've never had a 1.4 TDI, only the 1.2 HTP but my neighbours 1.4 TDI 80hp seems to shift like a bat out of hell!

Fabia 1.4 Tdi - Is It Any Good??
I reckon as long as you do give it a wee blast now and again you'll be alright, as you say.

Helpful Video: Key Fob Battery Replacement
As have I, Lee. I never knew he had produced a video on the battery replacement.

Helpful Video: Key Fob Battery Replacement
Found this very helpful when changing the battery in my remote key. This process works for the non-flip out keys, AKA the leg stabber. Maybe it'll help someone else!

1.5 TSI for Mk4 possibility?
It's tempting but... Certainly that's a Mk3, but the folded up capacity is a biggie for me, personally.

1.5 TSI for Mk4 possibility?
An estate would have been better for me given the fact I've got a spaniel who could do with a bit more space. Dacia Logan is the only tempting alternative, hoping they bring out one based on the new Sandero.

Were have all the Felicia's gone
AnnoyingPentium replied to mikefelicia's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanMaybe a dozen or so down here. All on their last legs. Plus the constant barrages of road salt in this part of the world will be doing them no favours. We also should bear in mind that these cars are 20-something years old at the very least and have lasted longer than the "predicted" lifespan. There's no Felicias left in the village I'm in, plenty Mk1 Fabias now though.

Best looking VRS mk2
Well said, Pete.

Best looking VRS mk2
I agree for the most part. I'm less partial to a Mk2 (which might get me hung in this section) than I am to a Mk1. You can tell Skoda wanted something reminiscent of the Mk1 with the Mk3, however. If you look at a Mk3 in the dark, without glasses, and squint really, really hard, you'll see something like a Mk1.

Tyre sizes
195/50/15 or 195/55/15 are both within manufacturer recommended specifications. As is 185/65/14 as @sepulchrave says. Additionally 205/45/16 works if running 16-inch alloy wheels. Hope this helps.

I hadn't even noticed that.

Keys coded to the immobiliser chip in the cluster (?) are a must.

car issue but only for a second
You can upload a set amount of images here too using the little "add files" for mobile or the bit at the bottom of the WYSIWYG chat box that you'll be typing a reply in, if you're on your computer. If you've used up your space, then purchasing FREEDOMlite or FREEDOM is a good choice since it'll give you more storage for images. It doesn't cost much and contributes towards the running of the site and comes with added bonuses.

Headlights for my mk1 Vrs (2005)
Yep. Don't move the car at all, or else you're going to end up the creek without a paddle, as they say.

Headlights for my mk1 Vrs (2005)
My Grampa's driveway is where we done mine and we've got a slight downward slope but as long as you've marked the points then you'll be fine. Just hope it doesn't rain and wash the chalk or similar off.

Vcds headlight range
Okay. I'd recommend creating your own thread since this one is positively ancient in terms of internet forums. I can't assist much further with Xenons so I'll leave it to the more experienced of this forums.
