  1. Have a read through of this thread. Includes adding aux heater to rhd, amongst many many other things.
  2. I did it manly to protect glasses. But as it’s returned up the front edge too it should prevent rattles. Mine is a diesel so everything vibrates and rattles at certain rpm’s. I just turn the music louder!
  3. You could just mount tip over the end of the pipe and not feed it in directly but not sure if it would pass MOT like that as I think it would mean exhaust gases aren’t coming out of the intended place I.e the very top Of exhaust.
  4. Inspired by a very very minor part of the epic @ApertureS thread, I have installed self adhesive felt inside the sunglasses holder. I was hoping for black or light grey but they only have Red, Pink or white on the shelf, so went with the white. Doesnt look too bad and is nice and smooth for my sunglasses! Felt was from Hobbycraft: https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/white-self-adhesive-felt-sheet-a4/5728371002.html LED fog lights arrived today but I'm not sure when I will get an opportunity to install them. LED indicator bulbs have arrived but the reversing bulbs were the wrong ones, so waiting on delivery of those.

  6. A decent exhaust shop could make up an adaptor from that oval to the round of the tailpipe. The real issue might be how much room there is for it. How far under the car is the first silencer?
  7. Point taken. I’m obviously too short!
  8. does the 1cm make that much difference?
  9. I was joking. I think they have to be coded by dealer for each seat.
  10. I think it is standard feature when set to the extreme of range. Mine doesn’t do it but my memory doesn’t work. Module is under the seat. I’d happily swap Modules with you…mine doesn’t work at all!
  11. This would be the only major retrofit that I am looking at doing eventually. @ApertureS is no longer on the forums it seems, he would have certainly been able to advise. @retro Cost wise is about £700 inc VAT for someone to do it (Yorkshire retrofits, Vagtec. As far as I am aware, you need a new control module with 2 inputs, buzzer, sensors, holders and some coding. This looks to be the right parts, but I cant be sure, and you would need to check part numbers etc with someone with existing front sensors: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007944100982.html The camera is a nice easy fit once you have run the cables. Plenty of info on here for installing it. Edit: just realised this topic is from 2025 not 2026! Doh
  12. The charger is self adhesive. It’s got strong 3M pad on the back. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DL6ZBC3F The side panel comes off with one screw under a cap and for the routing of the cable I just had to notch out the panel under the cigarette lighter a little bit with a dremmel. It could be hardwired with a 12v to usb C converter but I wanted to make it work with minimal changes as I wasn’t sure it would work.
  13. It’s a mandatory requirement in mainland Europe. So I’m guessing it’s not bothered to be supplied in territories where it isn’t.
  14. Yes very sturdy. And it’s far a bough forward not to be in the way of passenger knees. iPhone 12 With a MagSafe compatible case. I haven’t been on a long journey with it yet but I’m hoping being out in the open it shouldn’t heat up too much. And I’ve always got the wire in armrest to fall back on if needed.
  15. Do the MIB3 have the internal jukebox? On my MIB2 I can copy songs to the internal hard drive. If they have the correct ID3 tags on the files then it sorta them into albums and playlists and carries on playing from where you left off. Not ideal if you have a huge music collection but great for a few CDs worth.
  16. Yeah i can understand that. I used to plug phone in then leave it on passenger seat so I didn’t generally forget it. I wanted something quick and easy but mostly out of sight as I don’t like phone mounts like that as I get distracted by the phone. Where mine is on the side of the tunnel it’s easy to get to but sufficiently away from me so as to not be distracting.
  17. Yes. They are borderline too big but just about closes. Have to press on the top of the plug slightly to close the rear ashtray. I might end up changing them for surface mount sockets, but they work for now! I added a MagSafe wireless charger from the front socket. Works really well.
  18. mine is now!
  19. I got these ones and DAB now working! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BS3TPC6B Not quite as slimline as the others but they JUST fit under the front sliding cover and ashtray can close.
  20. Arrow pointing up. Dirt on the top side so assume airflow is downwards towards motor Just changed filter for new one. Re-calibrated and rescanned for codes. Still the same issue. Definitely improved on where it was when I started looking at it and good enough for now!
  21. I rarely do too, but it annoyed me that it wasnt working! New adaptors arriving today to try a different one. Probably doesnt help that I have 2 of these installed!
  22. Yes this is for warning triangle. Mine is aftermarket but it fits in the OEM slot.
  23. While i was lookin at some wiring to sort out the DAB issue, I took a look in the pollen filter area. recirc flap moves perfectly as far as I can see. Something I did notice however is that the pollen filter is upside down. Obsiously with dirt on one side I didn't flip it over. Could this interrupt the airflow enough to cause issues with the flaps?! Its a standard filter so have ordered a Bosch Charcoal one from ECP and will fit it this afternoon and give it another go.
  24. Keep an eye on this @Danoid I’ve worked out today that these usb adaptors (or possibly the cables) are the source of my DAB interference meaning the radio drops out when charging phone. I’ve used a different charger and wire with no issue.
