  1. Perhaps ask Skoda garage to help? I am not sure if theirs a way to manually wind it up. Is glass covered on your insurance? Might be that you need to smash the glass, replace motor. Call insurance to replace glass.
  2. I took it to mean something like this https://ebay.io/m/ZSpU5C
  3. Have a look on eBay as there’s some. If not https://www.skoda-parts.com Will have something new but not necessarily cheap!
  4. I think they are slightly different as they are different part numbers. 3V5061163 for sedan vs 3v9061163 for extate. I wouldnt have thought they would make two versions if they are the same dimensions unfortunately. Otherwise I would have snapped it up!
  5. There’s a cable tie that holds the bundle of wires to the dash rail. You can just about get to it lowering the glovebox down and carefully snip it and then the unit comes out. but refitting the extra wires is tricky so it’s worth undoing the 8 or so Torx screws to remove whole glove box unit to give you a bit of extra access to tuck the cables away as you refit.
  6. My car came with no spare and I bought a spare wheel from eBay. Sometimes the foam inserts come up for sale with toolkit but they’re quite expensive for what they are. I ended up making up my own tool kit and storing it in the side pocket. Emergency kit and some other bits and pieces stored in the spare wheel and a rubber boot liner which helps to firm up the floor over the wheel.
  7. You definitely got a bargain then!
  8. How much did you pay for yours and where did you get it from?
  9. And I got the leather cast off gaiter to replace my damaged one. Win win!
  10. As far as I’m aware. You paste the whole string into that field and tap apply. Or you can select individual bits if you only want to change one at a time. AI is confidently wrong about a lot of this stuff so I would be wary of following its instructions.
  11. I dont understand what you mean by "every instruction using adaptation need to be converted in binary coding" I have not dont much long coding but I assumed you type or paste into this field and hit apply. If you scroll all the way to the bottom there should be a "Hard reset" Perhaps try that with @Cairus code applied?
  12. profile is fine so long as it matches your engine code. Can you press on the string under Data: and type into that or is it just a display of current coding?
  13. This is not the fault message though. The fault message says "Return to workshop" as well. It may well be that pressing the button releases the selector enough to come off its mark. It may just need a little adjustment. Worst case its £100 OEM or £30 AliExpress and 30 mins for competent DIY to fit the microswitch. That being said, if it didnt do it before the impact but does it since, then I would do as you are and press them to repair as part of the insurance claim.
  14. Looks great. All functions and buttons ok?
  15. Carscanner should do long coding fine. I have not met any limitations with using it so far.
  16. Hmm found it painted for €300 on kopacek. I’d rather lower it for that money! I’m happy with the look for now. May go for maxton lower trims all round eventually but house is now taking priority!
  17. Why do you show my these things… So does it fit over the top of existing once the corner trims come off? Dos the light relocate or is it a secondary one?
  18. Diffuser im not too concerned about as it adds chrome back on. Whats the spoiler?!
  19. yea depends which motor is gone. I think glove box out at minimum. Most can be got to from there but rather academic if it’s all under warranty! Hopefully that’s it all sorted!
  20. White isn’t too bad so long as it’s not been too dusty. The worst is when it’s dusty and a bit wet and you get streaks above from windows from the airflow over the car.
  21. That’s good. Relatively quick and easy fix but if it’s covered by warranty even better! Is that just the recirc or the temperature control too?
  22. Worth a shot. Ignition on but engine not running. Bonnet open. Can always go back. Dont forget to scan and clear any fault codes after.
  23. So long as you have your old long coding to go back to, it can’t hurt to try the other code. The trouble is it’s very dependant on the options fitted etc. @Cairus may be able to advise better than I In my Humble opinion obd11 isn’t much different to carscanner. Perhaps a bit more user friendly but they are two different ways of entering the same coding effectively. It may be that obd11 has a few more options that might work, but it seems from other forums the 2q0 camera is more tricky to code.
  24. https://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/12881/superb-2020-assist-coding-procedure
  25. Lane change assist and lane guidance are different things. Change assist is blind spot detection and uses rear radars. Are you certain high beam assist works? It might be fault with camera. Otherwise I have seen on another forum that updating the software for the camera from 1030 to 1302 enables more features.
