  1. Ah ok. Might need some verification. Also missing some of the round ones but it’s good to have a list of most of them
  2. Oo that looks good. Have you got a link to the page?
  3. That looks like useful info but seems to be displaying as html on my phone
  4. Unfortunately not. All I did was search eBay until I found what I wanted and zoom in on the part number stickers in the photos.
  5. You need a fuse tap. Most dashcams come with them. They piggyback existing fuse positions
  6. Flat bottomed, perforated leather. I’ve returned it through eBay unfortunately. It also smelt strongly of cigarettes so not ideal. But I’m guessing it will get relisted once it’s back in stock
  7. The one I bought wrong was 3V0419091AF BGN which was sportline with view, heating and paddles.
  8. Air con recharge today at local Kwik fit
  9. Yeah I was pleased with the price. This was just a big standard kwik fit. Also please they could fit me in so soon as lots of people will be realising their air con doesn’t work this week I think Price depends on the age of the car ans therefore what gas it uses. Mine was the older type R134a. Our kodiaq is the newer type R1234yf and that is £135.
  10. Air con recharge. £75. Now ice cold and no leaks detected.
  11. I knew! I know! I was hoping as I was using my own buttons and airbag and just leave the heated element unplugged would avoid clockspring. Which it would. And airbag I thought I could live with but it was quite a big gap at the top. Plus it stunk of cigarettes and I don’t think I would have got that out of it! Fingers crossed for the M. It has the right buttons and there’s another on eBay with airbag which is the same so hopefully it will be a simple swap.
  12. It’s all about cost vs risk. My independent uses genuine parts from TPS but only charges £640. My car had it done by previous owner 30,000 miles ago so it will be a while before I need it done again. But will be going to them when the time comes.
  13. It was the facelift one with the view button. Heated. I knew heating wouldn’t work but hoped I could swap my buttons on to it. But didn’t realise that my buttons wouldn’t have the connection for dsg paddles. I also didn’t like the gap above the airbag although I knew when I bought it I would have one. But it looked more obvious than I thought. And just generally I didn’t like the flat bottom shape as much as I thought I would. So decided for me the round steering wheel with the addition of paddles covers what I want. I’ll probably hardly use the paddles but it’s a nice addition.
  14. Thanks I’ve found an M one which looks to be equivalent to your S. Fingers crossed. I loved the look of the sportline one in pictures but in the hand it just didn’t live up to expectations.
  15. I have found 3V0419091M and ordered from CZ. It’s actually cheaper than the sportline one and the eBay seller of that one is accepting a return. Fingers crossed the one from CZ is as good as the pictures.
  16. That part number is for the buttons? I’m looking for the round steering wheel that includes the dsg paddles
  17. I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!
  18. Today I baked myself on my one hour commute home from the office. It turns out the air con doesn’t work. That’ll teach me for buying a car in winter. Called kwikfit en route and managed to get it booked in for a regas tomorrow. Curiously it started blowing ice cold about 2 minutes from home! I’m now questioning my sanity as to whether the ac button was enabled! Oh well won’t hurt to have the gas changed anyway.
  19. I’ll swap my 18s for your vegas!
  20. This one gets my vote. Guess they’re the rs4 ones. Love the clean all black look!
  21. You can just turn off eco hints entirely if you dont want any of the hints.
  22. Yup And put normal fuse back where it belongs.
  23. No reason. Just were it would fit. The whole of that row of large fuses is switched so any can be used.
  24. This is how mine is fitted to 48. They aren’t positive negative. Both sides of the tap are positive. I suspect you have the dashcam and piggyback fuses in the wrong slots
