I have found 3V0419091M and ordered from CZ. It’s actually cheaper than the sportline one and the eBay seller of that one is accepting a return. Fingers crossed the one from CZ is as good as the pictures.

That part number is for the buttons? I’m looking for the round steering wheel that includes the dsg paddles

I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!

Today I baked myself on my one hour commute home from the office. It turns out the air con doesn’t work. That’ll teach me for buying a car in winter. Called kwikfit en route and managed to get it booked in for a regas tomorrow. Curiously it started blowing ice cold about 2 minutes from home! I’m now questioning my sanity as to whether the ac button was enabled! Oh well won’t hurt to have the gas changed anyway.

You can just turn off eco hints entirely if you dont want any of the hints.

Yup And put normal fuse back where it belongs.

No reason. Just were it would fit. The whole of that row of large fuses is switched so any can be used.

This is how mine is fitted to 48. They aren’t positive negative. Both sides of the tap are positive. I suspect you have the dashcam and piggyback fuses in the wrong slots

look ok to me. DAB is the black one top left in the photo and easily snagged when putting the unit back in. Do you have any cheap USB chargers plugged in? They were knocking out my DAB signal. Bought some slightly more expensive ones from amazon and it solved the issue. I'm thinking of doing the MIB2.5 upgrade at somepoint but the screens seem really expensive. Where did you get yours from?

Lots of long distance work so motorway mileage which is generally quite gentle on the DSG so fingers crossed a good bit of TLC will keep her going for many years to come. I can't garuntee that I won't drive it hard though!

Ive got the week off next week and weather is looking good so hoping to get on it then. Also need to do front brakes which are probably more of a priority but will see what time I get.

I had a flickering then non working headlight bulb on and off since upgrading to LED. A warranty claim with the manufacturer was successful and new bulbs arrived today. Swapped the non working one out and all is well again. In the process of checking things under the bonnet I discovered the battery was not actually clamped down and had slid out from under the catches on the battery tray. No UK stock for the spare from OEM and Amazon was a long lead time too. So I thought an OEM- one from Ali express would suffice. Also picked up new front discs and pads to try and finally solve the brake shudder.

New bulb installed and all working as normal. Nothing obvious with the old bulb other than one of the spring clips wasn’t completely home so maybe loose in the holder creating a loose connection on the plug.

Hmm the stick flaps suggest the actuators. Relatively cheap and easy to replace. They may just be stuck but the actuators trying to move them. You can try pushing the flaps/ arms manually whilst operating the button to move them. They are on a worm gear so won’t Move manually if the actuator isn’t trying to move them too. Not sure on the ecu fault.

I’m guessing you have personal plate otherwise it’s a bit premature ordering it before you have the car! Yes prices include labour on the preset list. This is a local independent VAG specialist.

Badges are both 9cm on the superb. Gearbox service was £300 inc VAT depends on the gearbox as newer ones have 7 speed which needs doing much less frequently
