It’s not as simple as just swapping the port, wiring is different and as JR RS said, you wouldn’t have the ability to use the port for data transfer. your best option if you just wanted to charge is to use a cigarette lighter to USB adapter

Service history is now stored online for the 'convenience' of the customer. In real terms what it means is main dealers were loosing customers to independents so to get an 'official' service history you have to go to a dealer. But to make it better myself as an independent can update your service history and it will show up on the main skoda system but if you go into any main dealer they are only able to provide Skoda registered franchise service history so my updates wont show up unless they come back to me or keep the paper copy of the service update conformation. Basically.... the system is a joke to keep things inside the dealer franchise.

On the newer cameras TSR is enabled via SWaP codes so it cannot be activated without a hacked method. no legit way to do it sadly

Go for genuine, they aren’t silly money new from the dealer

First you need to decide, are you swapping for oem/original wheels or are you going aftermarket?

There are multiple faults that can cause this but chances are the dealer is charging that price to replace the module as the battery inside it has died. Fairly common issue but normally done under warranty.

Skoda dealer wont touch a aftermarket reverse camera, they will simply say rip it out and fit genuine. And thats exactly what id recommend to be honest

A 20 euro camera is not gonna be any good really... I doubt it has the correct wiring and setup for your car.

Youre using an old version of VCDS (im hoping legit)... and it is not able to ready UDS fault data so we cant tell what it triggering the fault, you either need new VCDS or ODIS to read the fault code correctly. This could mean there is a fault stored in another module and it is transmitting bad data or it could be so many other things.

Youre gonna need to supply a lot more detail than that. - what camera did you fit - where did you get it - what radio you have - lowline or highline camera - who fitted it - was it coded correctly - where was the power/ground taken from - fault codes Once all of this is answered we might be able to offer some assistance

Use castrol, VW dont make their own oils, they are made by another manufacturer so chances are it could even be Castrol, more than likely Comma or someone like that though. When replacing manual gear oil, drain from the botton, remove the fill plug and fill till it dribbles out the fill plug, no line or level, just fill. Seen as its physically not possibly to fill above the line unless really quick or having the car at a weird angle i dont know who or why someone would say that.

Next on the list of factory retrofits: Petrol webasto parking heater with remote function DCC suspension Canton sound system the webasto was never an option in the U.K. but you get a lovely option to have the car pre heat before you leave for work in the morning on cold days. What do you need the update for? Is there a specific reason?

Any coolant leaking from the water pump means 2 things, leaking past the housing and it may not be terrible yet but will only get worse. or if it’s leaking through the shaft seal then the bearing is failing enough to cause movement. personally if a garage has said a coolant loss and a water pump fault aren’t major issues at this time I’d be looking for a different garage... just my input

The newer Superb’s past 2016 use 4B module not 55. Cant be disabled in the same way but it can still be done through Leuchte channels.

Chances are the water pump shroud is seized open causing the pump to always run on and lower the temperature. Also if your water pump is leaking its not a case of 'do it when i have the money' it needs doing right now, if that bearing fails or that pump seizes the timing belt will fail and ruin the engine completely.

You need headlight washers for an MOT yes. And regarding cutting the holes, by the time youve sourced the correct brackets and cut the holes perfectly you may as well of got the correct bumper in the first place.
