Correct oil for my Superb?
Same oil on ebay in the correct TPS packaging and everything else to what they would of used.... £57.50 for 5 litres https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143490329435 EDIT: £41.99.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153542280345?epid=22032608400&hash=item23bfd54499:g:k~MAAOSwvqde-ITJ

Electrical Schematic Drawing
The schematic wont tell you the maximum amperage, the fuse will tell you the blow rating (NOT the safe rating). For complete clarity, the cigarette lighter is made for 10A 120W continuous draw. Anymore than that and youll want to run an independent fused feed from the battery. What is it you are trying to run? Just sticking a bigger fuse in there is not a good idea! The fuse is there as a fail safe, not a safe limit. Plus a lot of the time the fuse will run 2 power sockets. (1 front, 1 rear) so it doesnt mean one alone can take the max rating.

Skoda superb sportline 2017 spare wheel
I know the 272/280 didn’t come with a spare but the 220 comes with a 16 inch space saver. a lot of people modify their wheel well slightly and fit a full size 19 inch spare

New 19” tyres required, which ones
As much as I agree with all of this and they are an amazing tyre. they are so amazing as they use a slightly softer compound meaning they will also wear slightly quicker. brilliant tyre all round though! Id go for either of these 3 as the best all round performance PilotSport4 Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 Pirelli P7

New alloy wheels, need your help.

Canton Speaker Rear door
This is what I’d do also, but be aware, the speakers are riveted in and not screwed. the canton speakers are different to standard. what year is your car and I will look tomorrow for the part number for main speaker.

Front assist / ACC unavailable due to cracked grill cover
The photo he has shown is what looks like a Maxton grille with ACC that’s why it has the honeycomb effect to it. might just be a picture for an example rather than what he actually has
-
Front assist / ACC unavailable due to cracked grill cover
The grille cover over the radar is generally not made of ‘plastic”’ it is a special material to allow the radar to pass through without issue. a crack could possibly cause interference and throw the beams out. if it is simply a cracked grille then you will not need calibration as the grille plays no part in this. what you have to ask yourself though is, if the grille is cracked, what has hit it and has it also knocked the radar until out of alignment.

Misting on front shock absorber
I would very much like to see a 'over compressed' shock as it would have to have no bump stop or spring or top mount to even attempt such a thing. Ive had cars with 200,000 mile shocks on them with no misting at all. Put simply, any VAG car after around 2015 onwards - the shocks are terrible quality and will weep/fail/mist at the slightest wiff of being on a road.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
So following on from Halfords damaging my wheel during a tyre change - they paid for a refurb And courtesy car - company took the wheel and it came back shocking... - company took wheel again and I just got it back today... it’s even worse than the damage Halfords caused. They’ve cut the wheel completely flush with the face and it’s ruined the look plus it’s uneven - gonna be demanding a new wheel now, no other option and on top of that, someone went down the side of my car during the night. not had much luck with this car.

How is the noise and how is it solved from the fuel lines?
Small piece of closed cell foam or loom adhesive tape is the solution as far as I remember.

Rear Interior Lights stuck on
You'd be surprised how many of our fleet come in with 'rear lights stuck on' and its simply the REAR button has been pressed and no one notices

Continuation. The legacy file part 1
Based on the very limited fault code data you’ve given I would say there’s a few things I’d pick up on. firstly I’d be wondering if it’s had a front end collision and had headlights, radar and such replaced. if this isn’t the case I’d be looking at module 09 next having been replaced and not coded correctly or going faulty. after this I would say there is damage to the wiring loom behind the glovebox to where it comes through below the battery tray in the engine bay. dont leave us hanging, what did they find?

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I dont know if its been done before... but i might of worked out a way of enabling USDM side markers on the Superb 3 - for those un familar, instead of white day running/side lights it uses very faint orange lights that turn into bright indicators when needed. No hardware changes. Im gonna attempt it this weekend.

MY17 Superb SLA Headlights Upgrade - Help
Amazing guide @JR RS and this helped me out massively. Just a few things I wanted to add to this, if you are met with High beam shutter faults after the conversion as shown in the picture below then the following adaptation changes are needed relating to Leuchte10SHUTTER and Leuchte11SHUTTER which are the left and right shutters, these are not fitted anymore so they need disabling as shown below Module 09 - Central Electronics - Security access 31347 ENG116946-ENG116072-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Dimming Direction CD 10 maximize ENG116946-ENG116076-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Dimming Direction EF 10 maximize ENG116946-ENG116080-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Dimming Direction GH 10 maximize ENG116946-ENG116067-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Dimmwert AB 10 0 ENG116946-ENG116071-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Dimmwert CD 10 0 ENG116946-ENG116075-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Dimmwert EF 10 0 ENG116946-ENG116079-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Dimmwert GH 10 0 ENG116946-ENG116064-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Fehlerort mittleres Byte DTC-DFCC 10 0 ENG116946-ENG116560-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lampendefektbitposition 10 0 ENG116946-ENG116062-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lasttyp 10 not active ENG116946-ENG116068-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lichtansteuerung HD AB 10 Always ENG116946-ENG116065-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lichtfunktion A 10 not active ENG116946-ENG116066-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lichtfunktion B 10 not active ENG116946-ENG116069-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lichtfunktion C 10 not active ENG116946-ENG116070-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lichtfunktion D 10 not active ENG116946-ENG116073-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lichtfunktion E 10 not active ENG116946-ENG116074-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lichtfunktion F 10 not active ENG116946-ENG116077-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lichtfunktion G 10 not active ENG116946-ENG116078-Leuchte10SHUTTER LB23-Lichtfunktion H 10 not active ENG116947-ENG116091-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Dimming Direction CD 11 maximize ENG116947-ENG116095-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Dimming Direction EF 11 maximize ENG116947-ENG116099-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Dimming Direction GH 11 maximize ENG116947-ENG116086-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Dimmwert AB 11 0 ENG116947-ENG116090-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Dimmwert CD 11 0 ENG116947-ENG116094-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Dimmwert EF 11 0 ENG116947-ENG116098-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Dimmwert GH 11 0 ENG116947-ENG116083-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Fehlerort mittleres Byte DTC-DFCC 11 0 ENG116947-ENG116561-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lampendefektbitposition 11 0 ENG116947-ENG116081-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lasttyp 11 not active ENG116947-ENG116087-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lichtansteuerung HD AB 11 Always ENG116947-ENG116084-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lichtfunktion A 11 not active ENG116947-ENG116085-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lichtfunktion B 11 not active ENG116947-ENG116088-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lichtfunktion C 11 not active ENG116947-ENG116089-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lichtfunktion D 11 not active ENG116947-ENG116092-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lichtfunktion E 11 not active ENG116947-ENG116093-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lichtfunktion F 11 not active ENG116947-ENG116096-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lichtfunktion G 11 not active ENG116947-ENG116097-Leuchte11SHUTTER RB22-Lichtfunktion H 11 not active Another addition I had was that the eyelashes would not work even when you follow the VCDS guide, this is due to them have no prior adaptations to actually turn on the channels. Misting on front shock absorber
I’ll be honest, most VAG cars will have a set of shocks in their first 4/5 years as the quality is terrible. that being said a slight misting is also very common and won’t always mean failure
-
How do you change the sidelight bulb
Its very rare to get a superb 3v with a side light bulb in a halogen headlamp unit. These mainly use LEDs for everything except the headlight bulb which is xenon, hence why you cant change it as its part of the headlight. What is the issue you have?

Anyone tried these shocks?
On AliExpress I believe you have to review within the first 30 days. chances are these last all of 31 days and you’ll have no way of knowing or telling anyone about it.

Remove ACC Radar Cover?
This is more than plausible yes. the car has 2 calibration methods. first being static calibration which is done to set the base position and uses marker boards and lasers to set it perfectly. After this dynamic calibration kicks in and this is a constantly occurring thing that happens when you are driving and will make small tweaks to the calibration the more you drive until it finds the sweet spot. For example if your Yaw axis was static calibrated to 2.5 degrees (fairly far out but within tolerances) and then you had wheel alignment done, the dynamic calibration would keep adjusting 2.6,2.7,2.8,2.9, system too far out of tolerance and brings the warning light on. this is why some inexperienced people will just keep recalibrating a car and then wonder why it comes back a few weeks later.
-
Anyone tried these shocks?
God no... why would you want to buy a brand of shock that doesnt even exist? Plus the description shows that this 'blanks' the module out preventing your DCC from actually working
-
Remove ACC Radar Cover?
As a qualified tech trained in ADAS too I can promise you geometry and wheel alignment make a huge difference. To start with the radar has no way of knowing direction of travel without steering wheel input and setting the radar up to be perfectly parallel to the cars straight ahead alignment (done off the rear axle) this is done to a tolerance of 1-2mm to give you an example of how import it is. The radar doesnt look straight ahead and know everything and its position relative to the car, it needs to be told this and thats why it needs calibrating. Adjusting alignment, front bracket placement, replacing suspension components, moving subframes all have the chance to throw this out.

conversion from xenon to led
Xenon to LED is a false economy really, you’re going from 12V to 1000s of volts Down to like 3v to start with but on top of that it is now a MOT fail in the UK Plus the units are designed for Xenon so stick with them

Retrofit Heated Steering Wheel
Like the guy above said. Squid most likely will need to be brand new and steering wheel you’ll be lucky to find a second hand one so price would vary hugely. If you were really interested you can drop me a message and I can actually price it up accordingly but unless you’re willing to go £500+ Fitted then sorry to say you’ll be disappointed

youtube on infotainment screen?
It’s illegal in most countries hence why it’s pretty hard locked and prevented. that being said a android phone with android auto can be hacked to do it Just don’t do it whilst driving
