Even which tyre is faulty is better than my MY21 Karoq - all that does is throw a light (and nothing else) on so looks like it has changed a little in the last few years

Due to get my Sportline Edition shortly - one thing I wanted to ask is does it have individual tyre pressure monitoring readings that you can access via the virtual cockpit - I did see images online of the reverse camera display looking different to my 21 plate but wasnt sure what those images were for. I think the earlier poster was referring to blind spot detection though which is part of travel assist plus - I dont think that is the same as the images shown on the reversing camera though - happy to be wrong though!

The SEL has the Amundsen (rotary knobs), the SEL edition has Columbus (no rotary knobs)

What colour roof rails do you have ?

I am certain that virtual pedal boot has never been standard spec on pre edition SEL's - I believe that either that advert is inaccurate or the virtual pedal boot was added as an option

There are several easy ways to tell if you have either a pre edition version of SE or SEL as below SE Drive had black roof rails - SEL had chrome roof rails (this is the most obvious identification method) SE Drive had 17" alloys - SEL had 18" alloys SE Drive had cloth seats - SEL had microfibre seats It does not matter that your car was registered in 2025, the more important thing is when it was built (not always easy to tell). I very much suspect you have one of the latter SEL's (rather than SEL edition) so missed out on any "edition" upgrades An easy way to tell if you have an SEL edition is if it has the following - Infotainment screen with no rotary controls, Adaptive cruise control (marked distance -/+ on top of lower left stalk) and of course electric boot

Personally, I would say no chance!

I reckon its more likely your car was made just before spec changes took effect (and/or registered late)

The pictures you refer to appear to be that of an SEL (or SE Drive) but Matrix lights were not standard on either model. If the picture is an SEL then it definitely had LED lights but not sure about cornering lights. Above is correct re speed monitoring, but that applies to all cars not just the Karoq SEL

If you can find a dealers in stock non edition variant that is still possible

I meant compared with the previous brochure/pricelist dated 18.10.24 - SEL had all of the above on the 18.10.24 one when the Edition variants were announced

As there seems to be some confusion as to what’s included and what’s not, I have found this which seems quite comprehensive and easy to understand - hopefully it is still correct/up to date

Early versions of the sport line edition must’ve had the last of the old style steering wheels.. New ones now coming through have the new style “SKODA” steering wheel after all - picture is not the best, but you can see the design. I guess this shows the way the production lines transition from one spec to another. Not sure if this is the new style wheel for other Karoq models as this is the first one I’ve seen.

If you mean the fold out picnic table things , I have those on my current SEL, but from what I can see the sportline has never had those in recent times anyway

No, the sportline has an electric sunroof and the controls for that are where the sunglasses holder normally are on the SEL 😅

This is the first actual one I have seen on auto trader or anywhere showing the new spec. One thing that has changed unfortunately is the lidded compartment on the top of the dash has now been removed and replaced with a pretty useless shallow tray thing - now need to find somewhere else to store my sunglasses! “Skoda“ writing on steering wheel is not present despite the online stuff showing it on there. Can’t see that much has changed other than a sneaky little price increase!

I am shortly due to get a standard spec sportline edition DSG but confused about the above. As I understand it, those vehicles that historically had travel assist package had a dedicated steering wheel button as per the pic below which turns the travel assist function on and off (in effect a convenience button to activate all required components in one foul swoop). However, the new sportline edition model now has adaptive cruise control (ACC) and already had lane assist, traffic sign recognition etc. These appear to be the main components of travel assist package per below in speech marks. "Travel Assist package To make travelling safer with the Travel Assist Package. The adaptive cruise control uses a radar device in the front grille, which operates at up to speeds of 210 km/h, to maintain a safe distance from vehicles in front of you. The traffic jam assist controls the engine, brakes, and steering, to make the vehicle pull away, brake, and turn to copy the movement of the surrounding vehicles (at speeds of up to 60 km/h). The lane assist system is capable of keeping the car in the middle of the lane and alert the driver in case of deviation. A handy USB-C port for the rear view mirror is also included" - the only thing thing that I can see the sportline edition is now missing from that is the USB-C port - this is backed up by the fact the "travel assist package" is shown as an option per below for £180 extra - possibly solely for the USB-C port?? Travel Assist Package. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with collision predictive function, front assist and speed limiter. Lane assist and traffic jam assist. USB-C port for rear view mirror (charging only) £180 So if my intended vehicle does not have the specific "travel assist" package but does appear to have the main components of it, I dont understand what the difference between a travel assist equipped car and the new sportline edition would be? The only thing I can think of is if the adaptive cruise control is a predictive cruise control variation for travel assist equipped cars as it mentions "with collision predictive function" and perhaps that is what the steering wheel button indicates but I dont think it is very clear at all. However, as I have not chosen the £180 option, I suspect my intended sportline edition will not have the steering wheel button and presumably may not turn to copy the movement of surrounding vehicles or have any other benefits offered by travel assist? Any thoughts from those in the know? Edit - just found something that suggests the lane assist and adaptive cruise control elements on travel assist cars are slightly better/different so perhaps that explains the difference. If that is correct and it had been more clearly explained, I would probably have paid the £180 for the increased functionality!

As I imagine you’ll be one of the first sportline edition owners, I would be interested for your thoughts when you get the car and to see a few interior pics
