If they are still supplied from new with the inserts (not sure as many owners ask dealers to remove them) I will be asking my dealer to remove them

As far as I know, there is no option of changing the wheels on the Sportline - not according to the build your own page/brochure pricelist - only thing to do is buy other wheels from Skoda or elsewhere afterwards - daft in my mind as I would have swapped the standard fit 19" to alternative 18" wheels at the point of purchase given the chance

To all you Sportline owners - I know it only has map reading lights in the front but I like to see in the car when opening doors etc - what are the interior front lights actually like? And whilst on the subject, what are the two side mounted rear interior lights like?

It is, but I would consider the £29.00 a month route instead - I think this is the safer/more flexible option as some owners have been caught out if they sell/trade car in and have already paid the whole lot up front - see

amended brochure/pricelist dated 18.10.24 now online which is now almost accurate (I want to say down to me as I monitor these very closely and inform Skoda Customer Services when they are wrong - often one part of document contradicts another) - only obvious thing still wrong - which I advised them about - is that the tyre sizes for edition models are all incorrect - now just got to wait til Feb/March for my Sportline

Are you sure you are getting an edition variant (you may be getting one more by luck than anything?) as they weren’t released/available until 17.10.24

Just to clarify, high beam assist and matrix led are two different things - I think @don_kiddik means he has Matrix Led's ??

Whilst I am particularly interested in this Sportline edition, I’d be interested to see any photos or peoples experiences in terms of the extra equipment et cetera once they start taking delivery of the edition models

I think he means £200 more than the non-edition what’s left in existing stock models

I ordered the same model approximately two weeks ago. My estimated delivery is Feb25 at present. Hoping that due to the time of the year might be a bit quicker than that.

It is on PCP but trading in fairly shortly. Already had first MOT and is on flexible servicing - sure pollen filter was done at year 2 and had new brake pads all round a few months back.

from memory both (or at least one of these) these were added approx Apr 24 - I think you would know/would have found them if you had them?

service is next week - infotainment said oil service due but I have booked oil and inspection service but I think they would have done the extended scope if required - brake fluid change is extra but I am not keeping it long term so just wanted the routine service done - cost is £200 odd (prob nearer £300) but I will pay any shortfall once the plan is terminated - getting the plan also covers me in terms of breakdown, warranty etc until it is traded in

Thought this may be of interest to people - I have a Karoq which is due an immediate service but I am due to buy another new Karoq in 3-4 months time. I asked one local skoda dealer if I commenced the all in one plan on a monthly basis, then immediately booked a service but disposed of the car in 3-4 months time what would happen - I was advised that I would have to pay the balance of any service cost after the 3-4 instalments were paid (perfectly fair) but other than that I would benefit from all the other add ons (apart from any warranty claim in the first 30 days) so I took the plan out as they were prepared to confirm that via email - this goes to show that paying monthly is the best option for this plan. Where it gets more interesting though was that I had already contacted two other localish skoda dealers who both said cancellation was not permitted. Frustrated at the inconsistency of advice given, I contacted skoda financial services who administer the plan who confirmed that when paying monthly, cancellation part way through is permitted subject to any service balance being paid if applicable. I advised they should circulate this advice to their dealers as some are not advising customers of this and potentially losing business as a result of this

@DockerBob I see you are also from Ipswich - was it Bristos Ipswich you dealt with?

Double checked with dealer - Sportline Edition now comes with ACC,DCC, Winter Package Plus & Columbus Package and they are letting me reorder - should be worth the wait!

And that appears to be what my dealer is going to let me do hopefully - going to cost me slightly more (£10 per month) because the PCP campaign interest rate is higher but I would be happy with that

Correct and that’s half the problem - part of the brochure shows stuff as standard and then elsewhere says it an option. However, on this occasion, I think the remainder of the brochure is correct and that the previously mentioned things are standard now, as I think that's the whole point of launching the new trim/model.

Car already built and probably at UK port as I was told it was on a boat a few days back, so convinced it will be “old spec” - the very least I will be pushing dealer to do is knock off additional charge for performance package, but if we have any say in it I would prefer a new order (which I suspect dealer will be reluctant to do) - if not, I could possibly withdraw from order but may lose my £500 deposit and may then get messy, but I am frustrated with current situation to say the least as many of those extras on edition trim are things I would really appreciate/use That’s not the first time I have noticed anomalies in the brochure

There is now a revised Karoq brochure effective from 17.10.24 which now includes Edition variants of all trims c63f4efb-a760-4a48-931f-baad88d42aa6 (skoda.co.uk) I am now in a bit of a dilemma - I am shortly about to pick up a 1.5 DSG Sportline and I have added the Performance Package at £1060.00 as part of my order. I have not picked the vehicle up but suspect I will be doing so in the next week or two. Although the list price has risen by a few hundred £, there is now a Sportline Edition which includes nearly £3000 of extras - one of which is the Performance Package, the others being adaptive cruise control, winter package plus and columbus package . As a result, my original order which was based on a very slightly lower list price but with the added £1060.00 Performance Package now comes to more £, than an Edition would have and that would have all the extras mentioned. As the build date for mine was early Sept, I am fairly sure my vehicle will not have those extras (I ordered a Sportline). Although the dealer may not be happy, my thinking is 1. Do I cancel order (if I can) & reorder a Sportline edition at less list price or 2. Ask that they deduct all or most of the £1060.00 as the Edition version now comes with Performance Package included. I realise car specs change and I think I have been really unlucky with the timing but I would feel aggrieved if I ended up paying extra for something that is now included as standard for less £ when I have not even taken delivery.

And you now have flappy paddles, heated steering wheel, lane assist etc i believe

assuming you have space to do so, opening the drivers door (in an emergency) will slam the brakes/hold function on - at least it does on my DSG!

Again, this type of thing is often Standard on other manufacturers - particularly at the Karoq price/sector
