i know there is numerous people with cars with software problems which are a disgrace.with skoda who must of known full well there was a major problems with there software.just wonder why any countries goverments have never stepped and done a complete review on the safety of theses cars?in regards to this what is very latest software number and sat nave update.are the latest cars that have come out in the last few months having the same problems?

well i am like a dog with 2 d(%sjust been told the car is complete and is in transit and will have it within 4 weeks at the latest.mind you i will believe it when i get the keys for it in my hand.so i hope all of us get good news like me.model ordered was octavia vrs 4x4 estate,black diesel 2.00 ,200 bhp.may 21 2021.looking just over 14 months i have waited.i think i will pop dow to the local to have a couple of pints or more.

i feel for you it is a pity non of the car mags not putting this out in there mags but they all in the pockets of the car makers.so keep stum about this major problem skoda have.i have waited a while myself now order 21/05/2021 but you must be the longest anyone has waited for there car.good luck and hope you get your car soon.

in my opinion dont believe any of the waffle you hear off the dealers,they dont give a toss about you.it is all down about there sale targets and bonus.they know for a fact there is no way you are going to get your car ,on the date they tell you,imo just grin and bear it.in any case case good luck and i do wish you get your car soon.

i am sure when i ordered my rs it comes with 19inch altair wheels.it is so long ago i may be wrong ,

only wish i was not one in this club.looking at your posts there is one off maximusmeridiu and one off senaid that have waited longer than me.just wondering is there anyone waited longer than us ie slovenia ,and the uk?

got my weekly update pushed back until 22/07/2022 that makes it a day over 14 months since ordering the car 21/07/2021.

my car went into production week 4 ----24/01/2022.same old message waiting for parts.so dont hold your breath.

yes lucky girl,just wonder what state my car is in,it was built week 4 24/01/2022.it is lost amongst all the weeds and ivy by now.

just hope you are right about the door panels.so many false dawns.fingers crossed

yes but it still looks like the biggest delay is the vrs cars.just hope with doors are getting back into production lately.i may get some news in the next week or so.I HOPE

contacted dealer today relating to delivery dates.he contacted skoda[uk] and they have had no news on my car.they say they will look into it and get back to me if they have any news.in other words sit down and shut up.

if it needed for safety reason i am all for it.them vital minutes or seconds getting to the scene of a accident sooner could be the difference between life or death.

what do we all expect and should remember it is skoda we are talking about.

yes i know how you feel,it is 13 months tomorrow since i ordered my car.we ordered a new car and now we will be getting a older model.like a few on here i will never order another skoda.what happened to the system that has worked for many years.ie you order the car and then you go onto a waiting list and when you get the top you get your car.yet again we are talking about the world that skoda lives on they are a complete joke and how they can not see this is beyond me.

i do hope you do get your car,yet i was also told my car was built but a small delay,that was febuary 22.i ordered my vrs 2.00 4x4 estate in may 2021.

so do lease cars still have to buy the data plan to get updates or are they included in the lease?

can i add a point,what software will these car have WHEN we get our cars,i know or should i say i was told my car was built in febuary 2022.just hope WHEN we get our cars they will have the latest software and not the old software where people were getting a lot of problems.

just looked at your list of cars in stock.only 1 vrs in the whole of the country in stock.no 4x4 in stock in the entire country.

i am awaiting my car and it does not have a reverse camera.i was thinking when i get i would retro fit,now with what you say i have have second thoughts.i am sure i while back someone was fitting reverse cameras and give a full vision on inf screen.i could be wrong but it will be interesting to see.

skoda saying octavias delivery times are around 12 months.if so why is there some of us waiting for over 1 years for our cars.mine is coming up to 13 moths on 21 june.i take everything with a pinch of salt what skoda and sales teams say.

just had a update on my car from the dealer.the car is at the factory awaiting parts.he said he understand peoples anger in the delays.he said the main problems is with parts for the vrs models.just have to grin and bear it.
