  1. When did you get that build week?
  2. I rarely keep my phone in my pocket. Need to change tracks etc quite often. I usually keep my car under the center console, so the place is perfect but the wireless charger is useless for me. For now the best option for me, is to just have something there to block the charging.
  3. Nice, except Octavia's dont have usb-c in the hugebox.
  4. Well my drivings are mostly short. It's more bad for the phone to charge it for 15minutes. Rather not charge it at all than charge it for few percents. Wireless charging warms up the phone quite alot which makes the battery decade faster. I'll rather use USB-C when i need to charge.
  5. Well actually i'm getting my car maybe in march I'm not good at searching or looking at manuals. I almost need someone to virtually hold my hand on how to disassemble the charger pad. I'd be glad if you could give me more guidance on this one.
  6. Question for guys who had their car in this year. Have you had ANY problems with it? Could i assume that cars delivered now are perhaps without (bigger) software bugs or other issues?
  7. I'm pretty sure there are still alot of working Octavia's there. Usually forums are populated with people who have issues with their car. Usually if all is good with your car, you dont go telling that on forums I've driven about 7 different octavia's and only had issues with one. It had an issue where steering wheel heating gave some errors. Dealer told me that it was waiting for steering wheel swap to fix the issue. Of course i'm hoping that i'm getting my car when most of the software bugs are fixed etc.
  8. Anyone got ideas how to disable the original wireless charger? One way would be to remove its fuse, but it has USB-C ports on the same fuse.
  9. June is not going to happen. I think your dealer just wanted to make a deal. My dad ordered an Octavia iV last week and was given january 2023. Delivery times should be at least 10 months for new orders. And this information was before the fire.
  10. Has anyone heard of delays caused by the fire at Mladá Boleslav? Mine has build week for next week, but i wonder if that could delay it for weeks or even months?
  11. At least DSG models are 45 liters on the 1.0TSI / 1.5TSI and 55 liters on 2.0TSI. Pretty sure its the same on manuals. 39.5 on iV models.
  12. Mostly on winters here is alot of salt on the roads. When driving in larger roads (like always when going to work) the traffic always gets the smushy salty snow on your car. That salty slush is not going away with water sprays. Unfortenately winter in Helsinki is mostly near 0c,
  13. I'd say the crap on the lights itself reduce glare more. Headlights being wet from the washers make more glare Picture is from OBD11 and id4.
  14. Honestly i think it's a thing from the past. The jets just cant wash the headlights. Just like you can't wash your car with brushless car washers
  15. I'm loaning a picture from a Leon PHEV. I really like the speedometer being on the right side WITH the digital speed indication on the bottom. Since almost always drive with ACC on, i don't need the speed being so large. From VW Golf i've always used that view with map on the center. Unfortunately you cant do that in Octavia, In Octavia, i'd rather have map or even consumption being in the center. Don't understand why they didn't make it customizable. I do also dislike the fuel and battery gauges. Luckily on PHEV the left side is battery, not temp. Temperature is the most useless gauge in modern cars, at least being always visible.
  16. Anyone tried this ? is it possible to active normal cruise on Octavia4?
  17. So how then? Do i need to enable something with OBD11? I really would like to have some information on the center.
  18. Mamba green coming hopefully in two months. Won't loose it in the mall parking.
  19. Is there anyway to change what is showing in the center of the instruments panel? I'd like to have something else than speed there. Seems like i can only change the two outer parts.
  20. Should it?
  21. Imho they are almost useless. There are times when i use them, but they should not activate every time after the car is started. Usually i just want to clean my glass, not the whole front of the car
  22. At least here its required for certain light intensity. For example the MK8 Golf does not have them with their "iq.light". I must admit that i do use them sometimes. In golf i had them enabled when using the windshield washer for 2.5seconds. Thats what i'll do with octavia also.
  23. Thats what i was wondering since my RS is coming with the anthracite but they really do look like the black ones. Really did think it was coming with the black ones.
  24. I've never seen them really clean anything. Lights look exactly the same before and after the spray.
  25. I stop and use water + towel rathen than have whole car washed for nothing
