you did put the correct side callipers on ? if you put the d/s on the p/s the bleed screw is at the bottom and it will never bleed

I have noticed with my car it charges circa 14.5v on idle, but on higher revs drops to 12.8 ? is this a function of "smart charging"

As part of my maintenance strategy for my 2021 Golf I have put in place a 4 yearly battery change (rapidly declined in battery performance after 4 years) the mk8 Golf has a lot of quiescent current (off state drain). As stated above Tayna batteries are reasonable cost and it's another form of insurance to minimise problems

My battery gave up the ghost after 5 years (golf R MK8) due to all the electrical demands on it with "modern cars"

Had a similar update on my 2021 golf last week, had to re designate primary user and re instate numerous vehicle settings, too about 2 hours to sort out ☹️

if you have access to an OBD eleven or VCDS scan tool it's a simple operation Reversing light I have no solution for this ?

As title, I have a sectional exhaust system (clamped sections) and a couple of the joints have slight leaks (not evident sound wise but sooty marks) What are members "go to" exhaust assembly pastes ? As ever any positive assistance welcomed

All done, renewed both rear brake pipes (solid and flexi) while doing the work, that's a full overhaul of suspension over the last 12 months so hopefully good for another few years 🤞

Passenger side rear brake pipe snapped during loosening (to lower the subframe) awaiting delivery of pipe (includes flexi) will be finished Tuesday

Polybush units fitted (it's highlighted I need to treat the surface rust on the sub frames), d/s old one was well worn (You can't see in situ the wear for the plastic shields/spacers)

As you say "use them" Simply apply the brakes with pressure as you approach your final destination in the last say 1/2 mile
